That's about right. As a woman I get a lot of rage thrown at me if I say I'm not a feminist, but also a lot of rage if I say I am one. Egalitarian is probably the best way to describe my beliefs and how I behave in everyday life. But if I say that, feminists will say "but that IS what feminism is", meanwhile if I say I'm a feminist then people assume I hate men.

I respect the ones that are type A that dont give me shit for being type A and a Man. I can tell them a mile away. I actually chuckle at some of the strong women that have blue pill spouses. I am surprised at how similar the two of us are.

I think its "right the wrongs women experience" feminists, the "gender should not influence treatment" feminists, and the "women first" feminists.

Why do you feel the need for the term "Feminist" if it's truly equal treatment? Wouldn't still imply that only the "Female" needs equal treatment?

Equal Treatment Feminists

I feel like i dont see too many of these around anymore. Maybe cause almost everyone is equal treatment now, so you don't even really need a label for it.

Of the feminists i encounter, almost all of them subscribe to some variant on the theory that the damage of patriarcy has to be reversed by giving women special treatment. Which, of course, I find to be a pathetic, self serving, and baseless belief.

Look at any successful minority, asians, jews, irish, italians.. were they ever given special dispensations to "make up" for past oppression? No, they did it through grit, through developing cultural traits that enabled them to excel.
