How many men do you think would benefit from reading TRP sidebar/top posts?

I don't have an issue with TRP trying to say that women have just as many faults as men. I have a problem with them making women seem worse than men. I'd have to go through the sidebar and heavily edit it to remove instances where it looked like women were being made to look worse than men before I recommended that any man should read it.

Hot take, but none.

Each individual has an idea of what constitutes a happy or fulfilling life, and in turn they often live by that idea. For me that includes following your dreams and doing that alongside a stable circle of people who love you for who you are and support you. TRP in its rawest form does not seem conducive to that at all. It's more about writing off that kind of dream as BluePill and aspiring for the next best thing while avoiding getting your feelings hurt as much as possible and ignoring the feelings of others as much as you can get away with. That seems like a miserable way to live life for me. I mean it's one way if things go wrong, you land short of the ideal, and have to make the best of it but aiming for that mediocrity? That's just sad imo.

Which is why when my male friends complain about dating trouble I cannot and will not ever point them toward TRP. There's nothing I can do if they find it on their own but I'm sure as hell not going to be a part of it.

Honestly, from the people I know personally, I can't imagine TRP would do much. The TRP sub and its content might as well be equivalent to giant crap covered chocolate coated raisins, where the chocolate coated raisin is a tiny piece in the center, surrounded by a literal ball of shit.

I have one friend that needs to grow a backbone, but TRP wouldn't do much for him. His issues go far deeper than anything TRP would even dream of fixing.

Not a lot, I would personally put it lower than 1%. I think most men would read it, and reject it for various reasons(they know it already, it is repulsive, it is “lame” etc.) and the ones that do not immediately reject it, out of that pool a small amount of them would implement it, then out of that small amount that implement it, some of them will benefit. There is no studies or data on this, so this is mostly just loosely reasoned speculation.

TRP would probably help a lot of guys in that 6-7 range who experience a mix of positive and negative female responses due to personal preferences shifting them to like 4-8 range. But anyone who's like <6 would probably get reported IRL for trying shit in the TRP and anyone 8+ wouldn't benefit much, if at all, from TRP.

My main problem with TRP is that it assumes all its readers want the same thing and that all girls are the same and like the same thing just because most of them do so it wants you to play the numbers game to get to that subset.

I'm also not a fan of TRP's aggressive approach strategy because even though it's better for the individual doing it, it's worse overall for everyone, including people who practice TRP.

If someone had of given me the redpill when I was sixteen I would have become a better man, no doubt. I came from a small town with a very misogynist culture, though still secular, so a lot of the negative talk would not have surprised me. But the parts about working on loving yourself and playing the game as a rational human being would have struck me hard. I devoted too much of my time trying to become the man my oneitis would love or at least have sex with. I struggled with body image issues, and I got into drugs pretty heavy and lost a lot of time suffering from social anxiety. There is a lot of wisdom in monk mode for men who make women their life goals. I still struggle with not making a gf a main priority, and my life is much better when I'm dating and having sex for fun and working on improving my life.

I absolutely don't agree with all of it, but I wish I had of found it sooner so that I could have made better choices earlier on and avoided seeking a relationship until I was financially and emotionally capable of stating hard boundaries for what I desire. As it stands now, I don't find myself kowtowing for intimacy as much as I use to do, but I still have to make concessions that go against my desires because I've been enfeebled by my lifestyle, work status, and financial means.

It's hard to accept, but some of TRP is simply good for some types of men and women, and for others it's toxic and leads to a continuation of belittling women because they are women, dismissing consent and women's complaints, and promoting misogyny as something that women actually desire from men - which for some is true, no doubt.
