Dude, you've got to stop causing drama for no reason. This is so ridiculous. If you can't handle be told off 1 time...that's a bad sign. I don't want to temp ban you, but I will.

Every one of your mod-removed comments in the past 3 (ish) days. There's a total of 10. Note that we let all of those comments slide.

No reasonable person is going to look at those screenshots, and conclude that we're harassing you, or abusing our position. We doing our job, removing comments that the community reports which violate our rules.

Edit 2: To anyone who thinks "why is this stupid thread allowed up, this is a waste of our time" I'm sorry. We are moving towards more transparency, and I want users to feel like they know what is going on with the sub.

Given stuff like this, we'll need to create a meta sub where posts like this can go in the future, and it doesn't clutter up the main community.

I don't think your snark was the issue. That was actually a pretty funny way of saying "I disagree." It would have made an excellent opening sentence. But one of the general rules of having a discussion is that you need to say WHY you disagree.

The object of a discussion is for each person to present the logical reasons for their point of view in an effort to strengthen their knowledge and understanding by considering the reasons behind the other points of view.

But someone just saying "I disagree" makes it seem like they just wanted to interrupt the other person's flow of ideas and that they didn't really care about improving the other person's understanding, or their own.

I know that wasn't the intent, but it's how a comment like that comes across. The main problem is if OP believes one way, and you believe the other way, you both cancel each other out. So going through those motions of disagreeing doesn't accomplish anything. What you each need to do is to provide supporting arguments. OP tried to do that with the remainder of their post.

If OP had just said: "I believe the chemicals flowing through a woman's body makes her submissive", the post would have been deleted, because we're not interested in hearing a list of OP's beliefs. And so if a comment response says "I disagree with that", that would get deleted as well because it's just a list of things that person disagrees with.

What we want to know is WHY you feel the way you feel about it.

I am having a hard time following what exactly happened, but the mods generally act is a fair and just way. I've also noticed that u/_MaoistPussy_ can act in a not-so civil way. I think threads like these are good for transparency sake's (but they are so rare I don't see the need for a metasub). It just seems so incredibly disorganized, I don't actually know why the mods banned him. He made a top level post in a CMV thread that didn't challenge OP. He then got belligerent and mouthed off to the mods. And you perma banned him become he got obnoxious?

I understand the three strikes rule, but it seems like there should be a cool down period for offenses. A single conversation thread with multiple comments and multiples offenses all over a short period doesn't seem fair. People get riled up sometimes. They might say something bad while upset. They might say several things bad in quick succession. If they point of the multiple strikes rule is to weed out people who chronic act up, it seem unjust to have all the strikes need to ban a person come from the same incident.

Those are my thoughts on the matter, but again, I might be missing details. And being the good little libertarian I am, I am happy to review the people in charge and voice my opinion on anything I think they could be doing differently.

/u/MaoistPussy complained about it
/u/MaoistPussy is permabanned a few minutes later

Is that correct? No temp ban, no warning? Just... poof.
