Since men and women are supposedly so different, with men being so superior in everything to do with being providers, having careers, being leaders, having honor, etc., you'd think the one thing you'd acquiesce to women would be default custody. In threads asking TRP what they value in women, almost always the comments focus on their feminine qualities such as "nurturing, good mothers, childcare," etc. SOoooo why does TRP and mensrights groups complain about moms getting custody more often then? Or, despite the frantic "men and women are different" chorus necessary to rationalize all the double standards they love, TRP also believes that men and women are equal when it comes to nurturing and parenting ability?

Furthermore, TRP constantly dismisses the wage gap as unimportant since it's supposedly the result of women's choices, despite clear studies that candidates with identical resumes are judged much more favorably when they are male. Do you think the fact that the majority of the time custody is awarded to moms is a fact of personal choice on the dads' parts?

My view: I'm not a redpiller and think the "men and women" thing gets tiresome and dumb super quickly; I also think moms and dads have equal likelihoods to be good parents so I'd like to see an equal outcome of custody (shared custody preferred). However I also acknowledge that fathers are MUCH less likely to want custody, since they don't bond with the child in utero. Therefore I believe that a lot of the custody inequality is the result of men's choices.
