There are traits that most people want in their partner irrespective of gender - empathy, kindness, humor, etc

But I would have them look into which traits have strongly different valuations between the genders.

Do men value empathy more than women value it in men? Intelligence? Sense of humor? Being able to crack jokes.. height, status, wealth, presence of mind, bravery, creativity, will power, perseverance, confidence, muscle, low body fat, vocabulary, public speaking, punctuality, lineage or quality of family, rhetoric and persuasive ability, negotiating and bargaining skills, symmetrical facial traits, leadership skills, musical talents, loyalty, explicit communication, generous, trustworthy, predictable, considerate, principled, honest, sensitive, etc

I would add more physical traits but I'm especially interested in the personality traits.

People all say they want it all. They give weights to traits in a manner they wish they were.

I don't want surveys.. humans suck at being introspective and reducing their heuristics to relative weights for these traits.

We need dating profiles without pictures with just bios. Fool the participants, they are real people. Force them to pick 5 out of 20 people. Do this across countries, cultures.

Notice patterns. Which people are being picked and how often. Use the bio to convey the presence or absence of these traits.

Make it large scale, double blind.

The results should tell us how women care more about status, height, confidence, etc intrinsically as compared to men. Do men care about women's honesty, loyalty, being principled, empathy more than women care?

We should ideally get a ranking of traits. How much a trait or a lack of it predicts romantic struggles. Is black pill true and what percentage of attraction is based on immutable traits?

If these patterns hold true across cultures and societies? Does it become stronger the more egalitarian a culture gets?

I would be excited for this experiment!

Are more hygienic men more sexually satisfied.

Offer a bunch of guys twenty bucks and a free pair of socks if they are willing to do a questionnaire about a variety of things, and have their socks wrung out in water and returned to them in a Ziploc bag. Some of the questions are about recent occupational and physical activity so we can treat the answers separately if the guy has been to the gym, worked labouring etc. Some are about how often he showers etc. Some are about how happy he is with his sex life. Some are just there to distract from what the study is really about.

Purpose of the study...change your damn socks and take a shower.

The effects of different levels of reveling skin from no skin to nudity that occurs with both sexes. (For example would men be more distracted with women wearing cleavage shirts or being nude).

I'm particularly interested in this because womens clothes tend to emphasize (sexually objectify) womans bodies. So when do cloths actually cause a detriment.
