PPD can live without mods. Just have the users who both reds and blues report receive a warning, with progressive bans after several warnings. This can be done by a script.

No, not at all. PPD is the most engaged and fun and active it's been all year. It is now evident in reality not just theory that the mods are an obnoxious and stifling presence in the sub.
