They do that because he’s hot. I’ve seen men AND women go after that extremely attractive person who is widely known for being a shitty human being just because they’re attracted to them and aren’t thinking logically. A mixture of that and being optimistic that they’re “special” and will be the exception to the rule. There are also some people who would rather not be bored than be with someone who treats them right, but the simple answer of bad decisions due to being horny for a sexy guy/girl is probably the main factor in the scenario you’re describing.

Does purge week do away with the rule that only women should post first level responses for “Question for Women” posts?
