Like men I'm pretty sure girls are attracted to many facets of people but I kind of hate how the internet has victimized and demonize the term nice guy so much to the point where we have these types of conversation

I don't think self-proclaim nice guys are these terrible nebish Woman Haters because of that was true then you would actually see it

The biggest things that confused me when I was in high school wasn't that I expected girls to somehow like me because I wasn't accusing them but I guess it was because of just the bar of what should be considered good conduct versus what our society including all the men and the women will say

Like no as a nice guy you're not entitled but you do wonder why you keep striking out so badly against men who you know are on paper just not good for a woman

And the problem that comes with this that so many girls still seem to have this culture of complaining about these types of men while painting all men with the consequences of these few men's actions

I've even called out some female members of my family for this type of behavior. You can't say You Want to Build a Better Community but then open your legs up for The Men Who terrorize it.

I think this caricature of a nice guy is mainly on the internet because I know guys that have less masculinity than me that still do well with women.

My cousin is probably the nicest dude ever as he is a pastor and he has a very successful marriage

Even with my weird ass is still surprises me how much attention I get from women and I still very much feel like a sitcoms character. And ask cliche as it sounds I went on a self-improvement journey Bacuase I kept absorbing information about nice guys and all the negative connotations with them

But as I get older I really think it's just an internet caricature because I've seen many men with different personality types succeed with women

And once again I understand the idea about not wanting to seem nervous but I think it's foolish to think that being nice is the trait that most of these guys have. Empathy and understanding is not easily attained for everybody and you can still be a very empathetic person and still get upset

And sometimes I feel like that's also a big problem with the nice guys it's for the fact that thatvthey are more calm, people are used to it when they get upset

I bet from a guy that's always outwardly angry it'll come off as normal especially to women.

Believe me when I was younger I used to believe this too because it only exasperated my insecurities. But now at 26 I just can't say I agree
