What would happen in a near future where we can genetically engineer babies? What would happen if we made all the male babies (or most) have the skin color that is most popular with women, muscular, and tall with blue/green eyes?

Would women be happy? Or would they just want even more? If the average male height was 6' would they want 6'4"?

My suspicion is that female hypergamy is relative not absolute and thus impossible to solve. For example in a country where most men are tall like Sweden or Germany you just hear men talk about how they get rejected for only being 5'11" for example. Or in countries like Phillipines women will accept shorter men because they have no choice.

So my suspicion is this wouldn't work because women's standards would just keep rising until men had to be evolved into an entire different cat-human hybrid or something else equally absurd by the end.
