Well, this was an enlightening read. Though it's not really a denied pussypass, to be honest. Despite my pointed commentary she genuinely regrets her mistakes and admits to them, which isn't actually objectionable. Her past version might have been a bitch, but reality seems to have sobered her up.

In case people wonder what the "Nirvana Fallacy" is, it basically means rejecting something real (in this case her fiancee) purely because it isn't as good as a made up idealized version of it (her even-more-perfect Mr. Right) despite the idealized version being unrealistic and likely not existing in real life. It's a close relative of the Perfect Solution Fallacy which argues that any solution that is not utterly perfect shoud be discarded i.e. abolishing the police because they don't stop 100% of all crime.

Countless men and women (especially in big cities) always think or feel they can do better.
