Feminine role models with glasses?

S.E. Cupp, Rachel Maddow, and me! LOL! I’ll also be your role model.

I love my glasses. I feel like they are so much a part of my personality now. I had the option to get contacts and was “nope”—rather have my glasses. They make me unique (not a lot of people wear them full time) and you can really showcase your personality with them as well as your style.

My current pair have a slight cat eye shape, and I couldn’t love them more. My husband picked them out for me.

I’m not sure about feminine role models who wear glasses but I feel the same as you when I wear my glasses tbh. However, since I got a pair with more of a cat-eye shape, I feel like they’re cuter than what I had in the past!

I don’t know if there’s a particular style considered more feminine, but I’d gravitate towards more delicate styles, or lighter colors. Cat eye styles are naturally a bit more feminine too.

Good luck!! I went to like 7 stores before I found my current glasses so don’t be afraid to spend some time looking for your perfect pair. If possible, bring someone whose opinion you trust!

If youre talking about style and looking feminine, search for korean idols who wear glasses. I find that their style is very unique and stylish. If its not your style, you can still observe and take something from it

Hmm not really. Maybe you haven't found a type and size that suits your face shape. Although a cat eye is probably considered the most feminine. Any shape can be feminine enough if it's in a girly color/has rhinestones. I personally love zenni optical. Super cheap and they offer a virtual try on. And they give you free upgrades to thinner lenses if you have bad vision.

I also don’t have any role models to offer but I am -7.5 scrip and haven’t worn contacts in YEARS because of irritation and I think at this point even if I found a contact type that didn’t annoy me I still wouldn’t go back because my glasses are my favorite accessory! A friend turned me on to online ordering and it is far less costly than buying from the optometrist so I can snag several pairs for a similar price and switch them out depending on mood or outfit and it is wonderful! I have been using zenni optical, and would definitely recommend looking into it for anyone who might be like me and want to have several different colors/styles of glasses without spending an arm and a leg. My scrip is too strong for some of the options (like premium sunglasses line for instance) but it hasn’t been limiting honestly.

I wear them because without them I'm blind.

That should be enough for you. Do you also look for role models who take allergy medication or deal with period cramps once in a while?

Be more confident with yourself and if you absolutely need role models- search for confident people.
