So lately every Friday after work people from the office go out for drinks. I tend to have the same amount as everyone else but it’s getting to a point where at the time it’s fun but the next day I realise how unclassy I was, and I regret some of the things I said etc. When I’m with my friends we have a couple of wines and it’s a nice time but work people drink more than I’m used to.

How do I stay social with work friends but keep it classy? Is it a matter of not going at all for a while, of just staying for a couple of drinks then going home early, or staying as long as everyone else but having a limited number of drinks (which means turning down rounds)?
