I know this space isn't particularly made for ranting, but I just noticed a trend the other day that pisses me off to no end and wanted to see what other ladies thought about it. The term "double standard" is thrown around a lot in feminism, and not only is it completely ridiculous (men and women are DIFFERENT, and not interchangeable - thus "well if the roles were reversed..." generally does not make sense), but usually those complaining about it are utterly hypocritical. I saw a thread in my Facebook feed the other day about women joining sugar daddy websites in the hopes of finding a man with a "financial domination" fetish or whatever it's called. Basically, trying to see if they can get men to give them money for no reason and talking about how it's an empowered thing to do. They are allowed to seek out rich men, but men are shallow pigs for seeking attractive women. Obviously seeking to use men while giving them as little as possible in return is NOT redpill and is completely fucked up IMO. This basic theme has come up, but I don't think the specific question has been discussed: what are your thoughts on seeking men with as much income as possible (for a RP relationship where you work to earn your place)? My stepmom improves herself and her behavior a lot in order to hold down my dad, and openly says that a lot of that is because he has a lot of money. My dad doesn't seem to mind that answer as long as she continues to earn her place. I always personally thought of that as a really shitty way of looking at relationships, but if men can be open about seeking the most attractive female he can get, is it inappropriate for a woman to admit she sought out the richest man she could get?
