Hi ladies! I (24 F) generally follow most RP principles in my relationship (28M) and it shows! We're affectionate, loving, and imo we have the perfect relationship. Now here's the "but".

We are planning a move across the country, far away from my family who I'm very close to. In initial discussions about the move, 8ish months ago I said that I'd really feel a lot better about moving and uprooting my entire life and family connections if I was engaged. That's a move I'd make for a husband not a boyfriend. He said of course he wanted to marry me one day, but he didn't want to feel like there was a deadline on it, that it was too much pressure to do it by a certain day.

Now we move in a month and he's talking about wanting to buy a house in the new city. Very exciting!! But am I crazy for wanting to put my foot down about looking for houses before being engaged? That just seems like it's going in the wrong order. I don't want to be one of those women stuck being a girlfriend forever T_T
