Hey ladies, I’ve had this theory for awhile now and I’m curious what you guys think about it.

So I notice that in a lot of long-term relationships, eventually people start farting around each other, they start leaving the door open when they go to the bathroom, they may “let themselves go” for the lack of a better term. Most people I see say that this is a GOOD thing because it shows you love someone unconditionally and that you are being vulnerable. But I had a long-term relationship that became like that and I feel like it really killed the passion.. because a lot of what makes passion is the mystery, the excitement. For example I notice when me and my boyfriend go and do NEW things it’s almost like both of our sex drives is suddenly on high. When I see him in a new environment and bond together through that it’s like I see him how I saw him when I first met him.

Now it’s of course unrealistic to always new things with your partner because daily life is boring. Go to work, come home, rinse & repeat. But this makes me so sad because I remember the excitement of the beginning, doing things together all the time, feeling excited on knowing more about them.. feeling that PASSION. Being afraid to fart around each other, lol. So anyway I’ve tried to NOT be too vulnerable with my boyfriend in this way. And I wonder sometimes if this is unhealthy. What do you guys think?
