My significant other has been unemployed for a while (not for lack of trying on his part, promise) and it is making him crazy. He feels all emasculated and such and I don't know the best way to help him...I know sometimes making our men talk about their problems can be counterproductive, and I don't want to interfere too much with my captain's plan. What's the best way to support an RP man while they're "down"? On the other side I don't want to encourage complacency.
Oh, and I guess he isn't technically unemployed--he's working as a substitute teaching in the meantime, but it's pretty far beneath his skillset/education level.
