Sometimes, I consider taking away someone's life by putting them in jail in situations like this is actually worse than murder. That kid is in a hell right now and in the time of his life he should be doing all sorts of shit you end up not being able to do in your 30's. The girls all need to serve sentences for as long as he has been in jail if not longer.

And this 19 year old is in a fucking cell block despite a lack of hard evidence.

He's been assaulting women for 5 years, but they all decide to come out about it at the same time some even praised him for being a good boyfriend publicly. And Sheriff Babeu says these girls could have been conflicted over what love and attraction are, but I think they may be mistaken over what actual violence and rape are.

Hurting someone emotionally does not demand a penalty of prison time.

I would sue them each for a million dollars, knowing they could never pay it. I would demand wage garnishments and seize assets (Home, car, other property). I will demand that I be paid each month regardless of their situation. While in prison, if they can't pay up, more jail time. A couple people in here are talking about obstruction of justice, conspiracy, etc.

While these are true (assuming the kid was set up, which seems pretty clear), they are crimes against the state.

Civil action is what the kid should do, after acquittal and with evidence of their conspiratorial malfeasance in hand.

He has profound damages.

Sure, pain and suffering, psychological distress, permanently soured view of women, etc. etc.

He has lost a school year, in a manner that will hamper his ability to get into a good college if that's what he wants and will push back the start of his earning career; otherwise, he lost earning time at a job. Either of those will compound through his life (i.e. future value of money lost today, over 50+ years)

He should take these bitches for millions; for any that are minors, he should wind up with the deeds to the houses they are currently in.

He's 19 and stuck in the 3rd largest county facility. He's been in there for a fucking year and looks like he will be stuck there at least through August 2015.

This is pretty terrible. If he's wrongly accused then I hope he is acquitted. I hope the justice system will get it right. Some of the 27 charges date back five years and there are a dozen different women and children accusing him so it is a pretty complex and murky case.
