I've been on TRP for 4 years and have been living a great life. I've had multiple plates throughout the years, many of which were and some still are really great.

Here's the problem: One of my plates from another country who i met travelling recently visited me. Out of all the plates I've had the connection with her stands out. She's gone now so I'm back to my usual routine but thoughts of sliding back and oneitis do haunt me. We had some intimate moments and I wonder if there was something legitimate with her or if it's just latent beta tendencies. If she were in the same country as me I can imagine having problems with managing my thoughts and feelings about her.

Is this just oneitis? (i'm spinning many plates) or did I just spend a little too much time with her lately and got caught with my pants down.

New to TRP, currently reading The Rationale Male and the sidebar material.

I'm struggling with 3 TRP concepts in particular.

1) By definition, this sub exists to advance men's sexual strategy. One of these strategies, as i understand, is to never marry. However, isn't the ultimate sexual strategy to pass on your genetic material? Doesn't this naturally require some sort of legal/social/cultural structure for marriage and family?

2) Does recognizing the hypergamous nature of women preclude you from an emotional attachment to them? I.e., if you think it's in a women's nature to move on from you if/when she can move up, does that preclude you from ever emotionally investing with her?

3) Is it possible to be both Beta or Alpha, based on your reaction to a given situation? From what I'm reading, it sounds like you are always one or the other, but why isn't someone able to be both?

Strange question, not looking for advice as much as your read on these tactics.

I'm a country musician, lead guitar player and singer. When girls come over they see my instruments and amps and usually ask me to play something, if not on the 1st night usually the second if they keep coming.

The thing is, much of country music is lyrically very lovey dovey, and the things I sing in songs are not how I would treat a plate or woman I'm in a relationship with.

When they ask me to play something sometimes I'll just play guitar, and if they really want to hear me sing and I feel like it I'll sing a song that's not a love song. What do you think would happen if I played some of my softer "beta" songs for them?

I know chicks love songs like this but I believe it's more of the idea that a song like this could be written about them than a guy really treating them like this, because as we know, they don't really want to be treated like that for any length of time.

This girl I've been seeing for about a month and a half posted a snapchat-story with her ex-bf in it last night. What are some "date" ideas for guys to ask girls to do in college. I'm in New England and it's way too cold to do anything outdoors. And I've heard about how it's not ideal to take them to dinner/coffee since there's less opportunity for kino. So any ideas? A year ago I started a new job, and a girl there was super into me, she's a HB4-5(she's really short and I little heavier but carries it well) with her SE around there too, we chilled once, she was super touchy and complimentary, but the setting was weird (druggie coworker's apartment[she went there with a friend to help out a special needs person, she's not a druggie]) and I didn't want to jump at her because there were other hotter girls there. Hey Guys. I'd like to think I am pretty redpill, but I often falter.

There's this girl that I've seen and talked to at a coffee shop I frequent. We would talk and she would frequently give IOI's. I hadn't gone in much in about 3 months. I was mad busy and had a GF that she may or may not have seen.

I went in yesterday to work on some stuff. Same thing, she's always giving me free food/drinks IOI's and trying to talk. I have her charge my phone in the back. I'm about to leave, so I go back up to the register and have her grab my phone. We're bullshitting a little and I tell her she should put her number in the phone while she's at it.

She asks why, I say I want to take her out.

She looks a little shocked and says "you can't", while quickly running through the phone menus. I say "and why not". She says we'd have to go as friends, because she already has a boyfriend. This took her a while to say, as shes typing away her phone number. I said we're not friends, I don't know you that well. She's kinda laughing and smiling, kinda surprised or nervous? I take the phone and walk away without looking to see if she entered it, and she reminds me she put it in there. I kinda look back and say "interesting decision" and she laughs and is sitll kinda mouth agape.

She seemed to be rationalizing things in her head, because she was smiling and muttered somthing about me being an asshole.

I go to leave without saying anything and she calls out to me and says bye, I wave.

Typing this out seems like she's definitely interested in branch swinging. I broke frame and said I'm kidding Inbetween "we're not friends" and "I don't know you that well" I was very nervous. Maybe it showed maybe it didn't.

I don't plan on texting her to go out, I'll suggest it next time I'm in. thoughts?

Also; I have never pursued a girl with a boyfriend. i've seen the guy and I think I am better than him. The fact she even gave me her number makes me not all that guilty feeling.

Hey guys, just a newbie needing some advice/input regarding what the fuck is going on.

I just started a temp job (8 weeks) at an ingoing call center for a private health insurance company and there's this HB9 that i work with that i'm really attracted to. I've had a few small convos with her but nothing too deep. She's 20 years old but supposedly: Doesn't drink, not really a party type and have never been in a LTR which i find to be absolutely suss and pretty much bullshit. Have you heard of Russ?! Have you checked out Russ yet?! Omg he's like my favourite artist!!!, often when everyone is silent and doing their work, putting me on the spot. She's done shit like this 3 out of the 4 days this first week. I'm too preoccupied trying to absorb all the shit we have to know for the job and making it through this program to really give a fuck so i just give her a "yeah nah he's pretty chill" and continue on with work.

Just today i felt like i did some beta shit during a 15 min break. She asked for me to go get her some coffee from the kitchen because she hasn't tried the work coffees (only ones she bought). Here's the problem: I want to have a family. If I am completely honest with myself I won't be fulfilled unless I have children, but I want to provide them with a stable family life. Is it even possible?

I have been working tirelessly to raise my smv (I still have a long way to go) and I understand that it comes with a host of major issues. I just want to have a nuclear family VERY badly in the next 5 years. Is it hopeless?

I've been TRP for 7 months. Lately i've been really a silent type that doesn't talk much even when i am asked something i respond really cold or not interested at all.

My confidence is skyrocketing thanks to the methods of increasing my SMV from TRP. My friends don't like me anymore with the way i am right now and i honestly don't care but i'm concerned if this keeps going on for forever.

Is this confident but really silent (maybe mysterious) type a phase i have to go through like the Anger phase? Have some of you guys been this way for some time?
