Don't ever think too much into female criticisms of male desires. The problem with most women is that instead of qualifying themselves to you, they want you to lower your standards of qualification.

Most people have never met a person with real power. As a result they have absolutely no idea how a person like this acts. A person with real power might be someone who controls all the action in a certain area. He can snap his fingers, some of his guys will appear out of no where, they will beat the crap out of you, or if he wants far worse.

First thing you notice is how calm he is and how he rarely loses his temper. Most of the time they are easy going friendly guys who don't have anything to prove. He doesn't need to raise his voice, he just tells people what to do. He never argues.

If you would do something stupid like walk up to him and tell him to fuck off. Most of the time he might calmly tell you something like you are drunk you don't know what you are doing. If you are stupid and decide to push your luck, at this point in time he might get some of his minions to take care of you. The main reason behind this is he needs to set an example.

A real alpha gets his minions to think their best interests are his best interests. The pseudo alpha that resorts to belittling, bullying etc, is usually really insecure.

Just look at this:

Black people are considered masculine in western society which is a + for the men, and a - for the women. Asians are considered feminine which is a - for the men and a + for the women.

I don't get why idiotic people deny things that are so prevalent in society. Just look at dating site statistics, and you'll see that masculinity is considered attractive for men, but not for women.

Girl: I want a dominant guy, you know someone who can take charge.

Guy: I want a girl that is submissive (wtf? dude you pretty much want an abusive relationship)

There is an assumption around this subreddit that traditional relationships are desirable, but a mischaracterisation of what traditional relationships were like. Women had responsibility for the internal sphere, home and hearth, while men were responsible for the external sphere. This dynamic has been turned on it's head somewhat because women are eschewing any responsibility for the internal sphere while pursuing career goals in the external sphere.

Leaderless relationships work where both parties have their own spheres of influence within the relationship, or in a less traditional 'power couple' where the couple is childless, has less interaction and are able to hire people to take care of the internal sphere.

While I've never been in a more traditional relationship, I've dated a number of women with careers, and found that the relationships were successful because we didn't have children, and were able to efficiently take care of any responsibility in the internal sphere because we both have the disposable income to hire people to do it for us. This meant that we could focus more on leisure.

These women weren't submissive outside of the bedroom, and my relationships with many of them were quite successful, because we were able to focus on leisure without trivial bullshit getting in the way.

I actually saw a feminist shaming women over reading 50 Shades of Grey. She accused the women of "turning back the clock 50 years" and betraying feminism. She actually got one poor women to say, "yeah it would be better if she spanked him!" Of course, the look on her face - and 99% of erotica - tells quite a different story.

In the late 70s and early 80s, feminism had "the porn wars" or "the sex wars" which was a major huge fight over BDSM. NOW actually passed a resolution against BDSM saying that it was "oppressive." This fight led to third wave feminism, which was "sex positive" - it's liberating to be flogged at a sex club, but it's oppression to make dinner for your husband.

Feminists go nuts over BDSM, because so many women have submissive tendencies and sometimes they don't stay "in the bedroom."

Got called a misogynist by one of my somewhat RP friends for saying I'd like my girl to be submissive to me.

Seriously, when you express dominance the girl normally takes a role happily behind you and is satisfied for you to lead (in any situation). I get a strong feeling that she feels safe and content around me.

When you get a girl who fights your dominance and tries to be a hard to deal with bitch I just give up and get away from her, because it s far too much effort for little return. It is not attractive, anyone who says it is is lying and/or they like being pushed around.

I understand how the dominance/submission dynamic is a matter of degrees and not binary (i.e. black/white) but has anybody taken the time to assess the numbers?

Can we safely say "NAWALT" that not ALL womyn want a dominant man to throw them around the bedroom and drag them into his frame? What are the percentages? Do 10% of women really want "equality" or is it closer to 1%?

In my experience and understanding it is much closer to 99% of women that prefer true dominant men. Sure they marry the Beta AFC and then they decide I'm not haaaapy exactly 7 years later.

If the woman is strong and masculine they just want an even stronger and masculine man to conquer them.
