How do boys grow balls? What are things you should avoid? I don’t have kids yet but when I don’t I don’t want to be the reason that they aren’t masculine. I can’t teach them that their dad would have to of course but are there things I should avoid doing?

Also kids nowadays are crazy, I’m a kindergarden teacher so I have experience with kids. They’ll test the limits with you to see if you’ll let them get away with stupid things or if you’ll discipline them kind of like women do with men to be honest. I have had men at kindergarden and even those who just come one day because someone is sick kids automatically will listen to men because of their voice and they are usually bigger. 9/10 a kid have listened to a man more then then woman. But a woman still need to be able to handle the kids and since she can’t use her physical she has to use other measures. I don’t believe in abuse. I think you sometimes need to hold them so that they won’t run away, or that you might have to carry them if they escape from cleaning something up. But giving consequences for bad behavior is what works effectively. Not the 3S’s that will affect a kids self esteem so much. Shaming a kid is so bad. Of course if they did something bad they shouldn’t be proud of what they have done. Sometimes even with dads the kids won’t listen, you’re their parents so you have to teach them how to behave. Consequences for bad behavior happen in adult life too, if you go up hitting someone they’ll hit you back, if you’re an asshole to your boss you might be fired, if you rob a bank you’ll go to prison. They might be sad or upset for the moment but better that then they being bad adults who can’t behave.

I wouldn’t disrespect or be mean to my dad because he scared me when he was mad, he can be really intimidating even today. I didn’t disrespect or behave badly with my mum because I didn’t want to hurt her. But I’m know if I did something bad I’d respond to my dad. The moment my dad raises his voice or is disappointed I say sorry. So the dad will have an advantage. But the mum has to get respect too, or make her kids listen because she’ll most likely spend more time with the kids.
