This usually occurs in your mid twenties after your one real long term (multi-year if you have one) break up occurs. In the past these people would have gotten married, 20 years ago they would have gotten married.

Not today, the common statement from nearly all young men Is "Ill never get married, fuck that" or "I'd love to get married if there was someone out there worth marrying" and even some woman have started resigning to the same fate. The system is well past the point of no return, it can only collapse and self-correct.

I just finished every word. The article is spot-on. It offered context on the timeline / trainwreck of feminism in crystal-clear terms.

This Pendulum WILL swing back to some semblance of normalcy. Everything in our universe cycles and this will too. Sadly, my 21YO daughter is ground up in this mess and doomed to live a life of confusion and disappointment.

Im entering into my 18th year of marriage; of which two years were decent. I stay now because TRP helped me to understand my role as leader. As the leader, my wife now exhibits some of that "receptiveness" you speak of. So sadly, it is too late for my daughter. It may be too late to unplug my son, but Im trying. It is probably too late for my marriage, but in the interest of my son Ill stick it out until he graduates.

Ill say to 2nd wave feminists what I say to my children - "be careful what you wish for- sometimes you will get it"

In the early 90's, when I was attending middle school in a large city, it was common to hear of girls aged 12 sucking dick on the yellow bus in the morning or in the afternoon. Even thirty years previous, it was still considered normal for college-aged girls to respect curfews, to not sleep with a man on the first date, with kissing being something to heavily gossip about.

In 1-1.5 generations, the West went from still somewhat sane to a dystopia concerning traditional gender roles. Girls today act like drunken teen-aged boys, even while sober. Imagine if someone had written a Twilight Zone episode, where girls act the way that they actually do right now in 2015. Many who lived back when the Twilight Zone was big would have thought that could never happen in America. We live that reality.

But don't worry about your girl, Mr. Provider--she's not like the other ones.

A lengthy but compelling article.

Problem was, by the early 1990s, when those dudes were supposed to be lining up to marry the women of that cohort, a whole lot of them just didn't show. The male fear of divorce and reluctance to engage with a feminist-oriented female culture that went out of its way to humiliate and emasculate men (particularly young men), as well as cool stuff like free porn and video games, made young men take a good hard look at the Femininity that their stunted Masculinity was supposed to be attracted to . . . and they recoiled in horror.

Factually I'd argue in the early 90's neither porn nor video games were really widespread. It wasn't like every young boy or man had a super nintendo and a dirty magazine. 80's guys had an NES at best, or probably a commodore 64 or something. Most of them wouldn't have played video games. The 90's saw the rise of home entertainment games consoles, guys went from SNES in the early 90's to Dreamcast in the late 90's and the PS2 on the turn of the century.

I remember in the early 90's I was playing DOOM on the PC, which was cutting edge at the time. Computers were around £2,000 a pop then as well. That's £2,000 in 1994 money, not today's money. Call it $4,000 in 2015 US money, when billy beta today can buy himself a laptop with a fuck ton more power for $500. So back then the working class couldn't really afford computers, the tech was too new and too expensive.

If someone had cable (also a way to see porn,) or a computer back then, they were middle class at the very least. They weren't hurting for money. Poor people couldn't afford tech then like they can now, because tech just cost that much more back then. Working class people couldn't afford any of the tech that would help them see naked women. At least not in England, maybe it was cheaper and more accessible in the U.S? I can't say. Some guys may have managed to get a VHS player and a few dirty videos they hid in the closet I guess.

As for porn, internet porn wasn't really viable until the early noughties when bandwidth was fast enough and even then, you didn't have tube sites, a lot of it was just nudes because lots of people couldn't get broadband. It was all magazines (and probably some very hard to get hold of VHS's) in the 80's, up until the mid late 90's. You had to be 18 to buy them so if you were a young guy, you had to get them off your dad (assuming you had one) or an uncle or something. Otherwise you had no access to porn. It wasn't easily obtained for under 18's. Adult men would buy them from shops anxiously, and then quickly scurry out like they had just sacrificed a child to a pagan God. My point is as follows: adult men could get movies and magazines with some social stigma and some trouble. Young boys, particularly horny teenage boys, bar the benevolence of an older man, had no access to porn.

That's another unintended consequence the internet has exerted onto the sexual marketplace. Widespread porn has led to the desensitisation of the female form in modern men as through numerous sessions of masturbation it has become more and more ordinary. A 15 year old boy today has seen more variety of female bodies, tits, vaginas, ethnicities and what have you, than a 15 year old boy of any other generation has.

Kids are fucking from an even younger age now, too. Coincidence? I think not. The internet has, in this way, exacerbated the problems of what was already a fragile and ailing relationship between the masculine and the feminine by diluting sex/sex appeal via porn. I'm not against porn, one could argue it has helped as well as hindered, but it would be disingenuous not to factor in it's influence in contemporary male-female relations.

In my opinion, straight up game the hell out of every woman. Completely obliterate as much poon as possible and get reference experiences with many types of women. People think its creepy to objectively go out and try and pick up women, but what's creepier then trying to pick up women is NOT knowing how to pick up women. Get laid, a lot. Additionally, maximize your own value. Get MONEY son, get a serious amount of money. Absolutely, absolutely get shredded. It is to everyone's benefit to have a great looking body and a healthy diet.

Beyond that, don't worry about anything else. Once you find a decent girl, train her to suit your lifestyle. If she passes, keep her around, but always be willing to walk away with everything you own.

Game, set, match.

I think that the saddest thing is, the evidence is all around but people refuse to see the forest for all the trees. Shit we here at TRP see the forest clear as day, and that is why we are making the rational and self interested decisions you outline in this article.

Why commit, and risk so much, when the reward is in no way commensurate? The cold hard truth is that life isn't a fairy tale, nor is it even fair, and despite so much evidence to the contrary an entire generation of girls is willfully ignorant about the false bill of goods they are being sold. "Having it all" does happen, much like some sucker occasionally hits the lotto, but to believe that it is in any way typical is silly and illogical.

This is a great summary which unearthed a few questions I've been avoiding recently. I am disgusted with modern 'femininity' and the options available (beyond easily obtainable intercourse) and yet deep down know I want to start a family at some point. I just can't see this ever happening, I don't want to raise a son or daughter in this fucked society of ours. Do you see it changing any time soon? Do you have any predictions for the future, or are young men doomed to merely enjoy the decline? Fun as it can be, I feel I'm missing a major part of my identity.

I have faith in the good ol biological clock. I get a grin on my face when I hear on the news that more women are drinking due to stress at work. Women are excellent counterfeiters and the greenbacks are getting wet. If the economy were better I think this would be done with by now.

Point is, if women are going to keep riding this Titanic thinking they are going to make it this time, unlike previous waves of feminism. All I need to do is grab the popcorn and enjoy the free entertainment. I'm enjoying the short-selling of women. We get a free lay and they get nothing. There's some good info in there, but also a lot of assumptions, connections and statements which vary between debatable to outright wrong (video games & net porn weren't a significant factor in the 90s). I appreciate the post & discussion, but don't think this should be a sticky (since that becomes a sub endorsement). Its greatly incomplete of info since I couldn't find any mentions of women's movements which heralded prohibitions of alcohol/bars (US), coffee/cafes (UK), etc, which predated even womens suffrage and is the actual starting point of the feminist timeline.

Rubbish. People need to recognize that Traditionalism is not necessarily RP and it's certainly not beneficial for men.

What is so tempting about slaving away all day at work to pay for your wife and children? Keep in mind this isn't the old days. Your wife isn't going to be doing laundry by hand all day or making dinner from scratch. No. She's going to be sleeping in, throwing clothes in the washer/dryer and popping a meal in the microwave 10 minutes before you get home all the while watching TV and gabbing on the phone with her girlfriends.

When she gets bored and subsequently files for divorce because she's unhappy, then what? She's going to get the kids, child support and alimony. Being a housewife is all she's ever known and the kids most readily identify with her since you're at work all day. A judge would have no choice but to rule in her favor. It's what's best for the children.

What really bothers me about this article is that it puts all the blame on Feminism and not where it belongs - Women in general. Feminism is nothing but female nature manifested in political form. It's a greedy, manipulative, self-centered, man hating ideology that embodies the dark side of female nature. But you don't call it that. No, it's just those nasty feminists that make for a convenient scapegoat. White Knighting at its finest.

The fact of the matter is that we either take it back to real traditional values, meaning women as the property of their father to be sold to their husband, or we recognize equal rights and responsibilities between men and women. Personally, I'm in favor of the latter.

I encourage everybody to watch these two videos because RBK puts it so much better than I ever could.

Long article but WELL worth the read, many good parts. The article was spurred on by the following question by a woman:

While I agree your ideals, I can't keep reading your work. The caustic tone and phrasing of things as absolutes that works wonders in inciting men (presumably your intention) pushes me into a spiral of frustration hopelessness every time I read it (presumably not your intention).

And his answer later on is very much on the money.

But that's part of the general Manosphere criticism of female society, that women do not - in general - want to face the unpleasant realities of the situation unless they are forced to.

This is total annihilation to me. Her comment was based on feeling bad about what he was saying without necessarily disagreeing with any of it, and here we are as men knowing women do this, and he makes it very clear to see that women don't care about the reality... they would rather be made to felt good, sans responsibilities in anything having to do with women in general.

Most men don't have the patience or interest in trying to explain our perspectives (which, as you've admitted, you've found helpful, even if they hurt your feelings) to the extant that I do, but I have a daughter and I dread the realities that she will have to face.

See to me it's funny that because he has a women readership, he has to (as he previously admitted) tone down the punch of some of his thoughts as to not offend the feelings of the women reading it. But really what he's trying to say here, is men are sick and fucking tired of trying to explain this shit to women when it's clear even from their perspective that they don't appreciate it because it doesn't make them feel good.

This entire fucking article pisses me off in a very good way, having a better understand of why until now we've thought that marriage is a bum deal, and he explained it PERFECTLY. Now I want to work even harder to exercise my options.

Maybe now that men know what they know, and they pursue the women who are really worth it, that existing women will get in line and 1 or 2 generations from now, things will be somewhat back to the way they are... I sort of feel bad for the current women but I guess they only have their previous generations to blame... not our fucking fault you wanted responsibility you couldn't handle.
