I don't have much success with women so take this with a grain of salt. But With the women I do know, I have noticed a common pattern whenever I ask them on a date.

Sometimes I don't really care if the girl comes with me, I just want some company. In this case I just straight up ask them if they can come to this restaurant at a specific time. almost certainly of the case they say yes, granted they are free. Which is crazy to me. The first girl I ever asked out on a date, after some light texting I asked when she's free this week. She replied with something along the lines of "Well I had class on Friday, and if you think about it I always had class." It was so vague I was almost offended. So I replied with a snarky "So I'm going to assume that means you're free tomorrow at 7?"

I never reply like this, I always had a blue pill mentality of being considerate and carefully planning dates and such since that's how I do it with my buddies. But this time I just wanted it to be clear and straight up. She immediately replied with "Yeah, that'll be correct on the technicalities". It's oddly formal because we have this sarcastic humor vibe going on. I had never had a direct success on asking somebody out and this was my first time, just being direct not taking any shit. I then found out that she did actually have class that time and literally skipped it to hangout with me. Which is absurd cause she lied to hang out with me.

Same girl, next time she was really coming on to me over text. Like we're best buddies, saying how she's only focusing on a few people this summer and told me not to worry because I'm one of them. Now with my confidence super high I arranged to make plans with her. She said sure. This was recent so I found the messages.

Me:Oh! How does your week look like? got a free day for ya boi?

Her:(...) I'm free other than Tuesday and Friday

Me:Would you prefer to meet in the afternoon or at night? Me again 10 min later: I've always wanted to go to an arcade bar and I finally found one! Check it, (link) What do you think?

Her ONE WEEK LATER: Sorry about the MIA. And yea totally I can't wait to be horrible at everything lol

Me: Sheesh I thought I said something. Tomorrow 5:30 @ mall? It's downtown so you'll probably be home late

Her immediately: I'd have to head out by 9 then. Also since we're going DT just meet me at subway

So what I'm getting from my convo is that my indecision literally made her ghost me for a week even if she did like me. So when asking girls on dates make the suggestion, make the plan, ask if she can come. Don't ask for her opinion because she doesn't give a shit where to go, if she doesn't like your plan she'll tell you. I don't have much experience on pick up, and only have her number because I probably impressed her so much she asked me for mine.

For some reason I can't always turn on the personality that got me this girl. But when I'm in the right mood, girls seem to gravitate towards me ask me for my number. But when I'm feeling introverted, nobody talks to me. I'd just like to note how important it is to mentally prepare yourself for social situations if ya'll are having trouble with women.

I'd like to know if you guys have any texting tips on making plans and dates.
