TL;DR Gawker Media got a hold of Hulk Hogan's sex tape and humiliated him. He had been fighting in court for the past few years and looks like he will win.

Now, as we all know, Gamergate has been unleashing some pain on Gawker Media, and while it has been significant, Hulk Hogan is about to come in with a knock-out punch against the hated corporation. Gawker, parent company of Jezebel and other such worthless garbage, stands to lose as much as $100 million dollars from the lawsuit. As if that isn't bad enough, the insurance company that insures Gawker is turning around and suing them. The lawsuit thus far has cost Gawker $600,000.

Update: My bad, Hulk isn't about to win, he's taking it to the trial and has thus far been a pain in Gawker's ass. Definitely agreed that Gawker getting sued by their insurance company is an even bigger deal. Another lesson learned: Don't piss off your insurance company.

Lesson learned: Do not fight your battles on the street or in the media, fight them in the court, as there seems to be some justice to be had, after all. Also, don't fuck with Hulkamania.
