TL;DR - Hypergamy and concealed ovulation provided the pressure for human beings to develop to our current level of intelligence. Stop bitching, it serves a much greater purpose.

Look at yourself. You are a member of the most dangerous species on the planet we live on. If you are in decent physical shape and of above average intelligence, you could probably kill anything on the planet with 12 hours to prepare. We build bombs that can destroy cities. We can fly. We can communicate with each other instantly with 5000km of physical separation.

Why is this?

Because of hypergamy. Stop whining.

Let's face it, almost every man here is on a journey of self-improvement that started by being fucked over by a girl. The stories are different - sometimes you were married, sometimes the girl was a BPD who murdered your dog - but the archetype is the same. Almost all of us went on this incredible journey of self improvement because of women in the first place. We didn't know the game, we were stupid and naive, and we got fucked over. We came here to learn. So far, all familiar.

This isn't unique to us. Why do young men strive, and fight, and build things that are bigger than themselves? To get laid. This is why our species improves - the constant knowledge that your woman could leave you for a superior male keeps us striving. This is the same in pretty much every species - however, there's one aspect to the human reproductive dynamic that is (almost) unique. That's what we call concealed ovulation.

Concealed ovulation is extremely rare in nature - in most mammal species, it's extremely obvious when women are fertile. The men fight over the women during this period, winner gets laid. The dominant male only needs to keep an eye on his girls during this short period and he knows the kids are his. However, humans don't work like this. Concealed ovulation means it's impossible for anyone except the woman to know when she's fertile.

Now, of course, this facilitates cheating and the AF/BB dichotomy we all know and love. However, it has one very, very important component - It creates a selection pressure for higher intelligence. Think back to these early human tribes. Without concealed ovulation, the biggest, strongest male is always going to win. WITH concealed ovulation, being the biggest and strongest doesn't inherently mean shit - if you're too stupid to spot that your girl is cheating, then guess what, you get scammed out of your resources, raise another man's children, and die. THIS IS WHY WE ARE THE MOST INTELLIGENT SPECIES ON THE PLANET. The existence of female reproductive deception in humans serves to eliminate the dumbest males from the population. Just to back this up, all of the other species I know of with concealed ovulation - dolphins, for example - are extremely intelligent. The result of this - a million years of cuck culls - is the reason why we are the ludicrously intelligent species we are today. If you're too stupid to spot a woman cheating, you don't get to reproduce. We evolved all this excess brainpower to deal with the eternal task of keeping bitches in check.

So, to put it bluntly, the fact that your ex girlfriend was getting pounded by Chad is why we have nuclear physics and electric power. Sure, it's brutal and cold - but it's existence is what provides the pressure for men to develop higher intelligence. This is true both for the human race in general and for all of us as individuals - after all, if AWALT wasn't true, you wouldn't be here, you probably wouldn't be lifting, and you wouldn't be on the journey you are now. If you don't like these things, or the development of higher intelligence in human beings, then feel free to keep complaining about the nature of women. Personally, I think it's better to realize the purpose AWALT serves - it maintains the quality of the human race as a whole, and it makes us all better too. The Spartans realized this - in their society it was considered a social obligation for young women to go down to the young men's training halls and make fun of them for being weak, so that they would grow into the strongest possible men. Would you rather be the guy you were before women made you take the red pill? I wouldn't. It was worth it.
