People can only do what you let them do to you. If you dont set boundaries and sometimes make some manly intimidation, with others, people will soon be using you as their footrest. Learn to say No as soon as someone steps on your boundaries(even if it means having to punch someone) and learn to have a more IDGAF attitude and say whatever comes in your mind.

It does not matter who invades your space without permission, you have an obligation to defend your space if you can.

Once you miss the chance, for whatever reason, you have an obligation to your self respect, to let it go, and say nothing. What you did after you lost your cheetos was much worse than missing the chance to grab his wrist and take him to the ground.

Progress for you. At least you know that you are a Nice Guy now. Your next job is to learn how to set and defend your boundaries. Takes time and work.
