Hey, Red Pill. This is a straightforward question, but may be a bit to unpack. I've been working on myself for a while, and think I'm on the cusp of being an upper-third type of man. I'm not going to come on here and say I'm alpha like a lot of guys. I just dont think that's objectively true (yet, hopefully). I live in the Midwest, earn low six figures, I'm 5'7, and probably just average looks. I could stand to lose about 25 pounds (working on it), and I carry weight in my face so my looks are pretty mid at best right now. I'm sociable, think I'm fairly funny and easy to talk to based on how people interact with me, but I'm shy and timid at times with core inner game issues. Currently in talk therapy with a male therapist once a week.

My issue is that I see other men, say at work or the gym. They're taller or in better shape or can actually grow a full beard. I just can't shake the feeling that I just can't measure up no matter how much I improve. I just don't think I can ever realistically craft myself to be an objectively better looking man than the men I come across in my circles. I can't imagine this is a unique problem, so my ask is if anyone has any concrete actions I can take to get my mind right? I see a lot of "fake it till you make it". Is that all there is? Just lie to myself repeatedly until I believe it?
