Thanks so much for this post, all the MRA posts make me feel like a shit (or at least paint the world like a shitty place). I have a great job with huge possibilities to rise, I lift, I ran, I fuck plates or ONSs, I have my own place and no debts outside the mortgage ... fuck! I live a dream! I stopped visiting r/mensrights because I felt they had brought themselves down to modern day feminism's level and weren't doing anything important. Every day the top posts were "radical feminist blog said this! imagine the outrage if the tables were turned" and I would comment "yes but why are you entertaining an argument made by a niche source with low-credibility?" to many downvotes.

I like redpill because there's a lot of emphasis on improving yourself. I don't personally agree with all the ideas that you guys have but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I'm a very critical person and I love to play devil's advocate even where there is consensus.

It's important to have a men's rights presence here, but only to the extent of empowering yourself. For example, maybe once a week have a thread where we talk about gender issues and tie into it how redpill can help. Instead of fixating on how the government and other institutions use a false wage gap statistic of women .77 men 1 and why this is malicious, just briefly acknowledge that it happens and talk about how you should rise above the complaining and focus on doing the best you can at your job as a means of furthering your career. Talking in depth and at length about what is happening and why it's wrong just makes you more depressed, anxious, paranoid, and cynical.

I like this post. Despite the world's bullshit, I have a goal and am working toward something and it feels really good. A lot of people go wandering through life without purpose. My goal is to get an advanced degree and get out of the city and live life. I also am always trying to pick up new skills. A lot of people seem to just want to go to bars and be in a bunch of cliche social circles, but I have always respected red pillers for their drive to achieve a higher goal in life and be the best person they can be.

I don't want to get into a political debate here, but this idea amuses me more than concerns me. The reason is because obviously, any woman who becomes president is going to have very masculine behaviors. It's like with Barack Obama being elected people were expecting him to be like Jesse Jackson or Snoop Lion and instead he's just another politician.

I really don't relate to the notion of MRA as "Whining".

A lot of aspects of today society are really hard for a lot of men, not everyone had the luck/insight of getting RP education. a lot of weak men are suffering in the sexual marketplace and in life generally because of the society view of men.

it used to be the same way (Even worse honestly) for women few hundred years ago, when they had zero rights and a lot of time were considered as property.

So egoistically speaking saying just cope with the current system, is the practical short term solution. But the real greatness is changing the social circumstances. It's harder, not as rewarding as going selfish red pill - but it will help much more men than just preaching red pill.

I think a real man should do both, Improve yourself and become stronger. But also be a good person and try to make society a better place for the weak men that can't sometimes fend for them self.

TL:DR WEAK MEN ARE VICTIMS, NOT VILLAINS, on the long term MRA has the potential to make the world a better place.

The key for me was to find a balance where I hear all the chatter around me but still be able to not give a shit about anything other than what I can control. While I don't want go through life ignorant of the world we live in, I also don't want to be so wrapped up in my surroundings that I can't enjoy life.

A lot of the crap out there is just there to distract you. Don't let it.

Have you guys not noticed how everyone is complaining all the time? Not just TRP but people everywhere.

Coworkers, family, friends, the guy behind the counter at the store, waiters, etc.

It's everywhere all the time. I never really noticed it until I really started listening via pill ears. It's also highly contagious. You stand with a group of people and the next thing you know complaints fall from thy own mouth.

I am very aware of it and do my best to avoid adding to it.

The other day I was at a restaurant and they had a guy playing guitar at peoples tables, everything was jolly and then he goes on to tell us about his dead dad and how shit his life is... This seriously spoils atmosphere, and just look I'm complaining about someone complaining... For fucks sake...
