Male Hamstering is an increasingly more widespread way of arguing. I first noticed in the comment section of “80/20 and height” (1) where many men argued that height had no value, and there were several men saying, “I am 6ft, and it has never gotten me laid”. Like the feminists, the male hamsters avoid seeing the whole picture. Would the 6ft guy be better or worse off if he was 5`9? Of course he is better off being taller. Does that mean that being tall is everything? Of course not. Can you overcome your height barrier? Yes. But acting like height does not add/detract from your value is stupid. Everything counts – your race, height, body fat percentage, muscle mass, where you live, age – are all things that can add/detract value from you. Stop hamstering this away.
