Positives:

-Studying algebras has gone great,this week I've gone through as much material as my buddies in class have gone through this month

-I've started reading the rational male.Was slacking on that but I have to do what I have to do

-Despite it being a deload week I haven't skipped any workouts as I do here and there

Negatives:

-I slacked on euklidian geometry,which bores me to death.I can pass the class as it is,for sure,but if I want a scholarship and not having to pay for what I could get for free,I gotta get down to it and chase grades on everything

-I haven't always paid attention to my clothes.Getting out not looking good is not aline with my goals

Neutral:

Today I left for my trip. I took the last two days off work due to feeling completely overwhelmed and anxious. I didn't want to go away feeling like utter shit as I have been recently. The two days helped clear my mind and get everything sorted prior to departure.
My parents both seem to be living with the fairies somewhat, where me and my sister can clearly see the ridiculousness going on. It's difficult to support people who say everything's alright, especially when you don't live nearby.
Had a vividly sexual dream about my ex. I woke up and almost laughed to myself in disbelief. I'm not having women be my primary focus at the moment due to my life situation, however I'm going to make an effort to go for day trips fortnightly/monthly to different cities to try cold approaching and just going to new places to give my mind something new to devour.

Positive:

NoFap 1.5 weeks.
Got some advice regarding my life situation. Was made aware that I'm putting too much stress on myself and am trying to improve in too many areas, which is actually resulting in pretty much no tangible progress in each area. Am now trying to realign focus and stop worrying about every area.
Buying/selling is going well. Not getting as anxious about buying things as I'm able to see such purchases as investments. I read something like "don't see the purchase as you spending money, see it as you working, and as part of the process of making money" or something like that.
Finally getting into reading a fictional book.
Sleep is slowly getting better. Meditating before bed, getting off the computer earlier, and reading fiction before bed has helped.
New gym routine is going well and I'm actually enjoying it.

Negative:

Taking two days off work for the sake of gaining back some sanity says something about my work. I won't be going back to this company after my degree and am doubtful I will return to this industry straight from Uni.
Still no close friends or any female opportunities. However, I believe I'll put this out of my mind since I want to focus on fewer things at a time and this has only been adding to my anxiety.
3 binges last week. I feel myself become really anxious in the evenings and this is what is the root of each binge. It's pure comfort eating, and it's disgusting. I'm in the process of solving these anxiety-inducing issues, as previously discussed.
I'm too distracted at work. I'm learning that I really do enjoy human-interaction. The other day I went to a city. The first thing I did once ther was strike up a conversation with a store worker. I felt relieved from just having a good conversation. Whenever I'm out and about and am not talking to people, I feel this ball of anxiety begin to develop. This is because my job and location limits interaction with people, so it's like, whenever I get the opportunity to do so, my mind's just pressuring me to talk to people. It's taught me that it's highly unlikely I'm going to go into a strictly software-dev job after Uni (or any type of job where you aren't interacting with others). Perhaps this will change as I become more socially adept and cultivate some friend group, but not until then. Gonna follow that recent post regarding distractions.

School 7/10

free from school this week due to Easter vacation but for some dumb reason they've put a lot of tests starting next week. that means I have had to be working during this vacation. yay. no. yeah have been slightly procrastinating with school and havent been doing a lot of work but I have been enjoying more free time. WTF why would they have tests next week tho?!?!

Fitness 8/10

program slightly messed up due to me not being home. but still got my four workouts (which is according to the program) done. also has been a slightly more active week.
been eating a lot of candy and soda because its Easter but IDGAF and weight is still decent.
Also it has been an active week. I have been moving a decent amount and skiiing and shit.

Social 8/10

Comfortzone challenge in the slopes.
not feeling in peak state socially currently but its fine.
o yea and recetly learned that "all the girls at [] had a crush on you". niiice.

Misc 7/10

Peak chess rating: 1300+ (chess.com), better than 80% of players on the site.

Throughout my TRP journey the biggest problem I had was getting over my fear of cold approaches.

Now my TRP success story isn't as crazy as others. I lifted heavy for years before I discovered this place. I stayed pretty fit and while I wasn't slaying pussy at every corner I did well for myself. But when I look back at all the girls I gamed and fucked I realized they basically all started at house parties and bars/clubs. I realized I had barely ever approached a random girl that I wanted to fuck while being sober. Both of my previous LTR's were girls I met through mutual friends while at parties.

So this week I made it my mission to approach 1 girl a day and strike up a conversation then ask for her number/snapchat. And it went well I was 5/5. One convo was a little awkward at first but I redeemed myself by a little negging and teasing.

My only thing is that looking back, the 5 girls were all in the 6-7 range. I think subconsciously I still avoided the 8's and 9's for fear of rejection. Anyways, I'm happy with my progress and next week I'm gonna try to approach hotter women. I made plans with one of the girls to "come over and watch the office" at my house tomorrow so I'm most likely gonna have an F-close.

Thanks for all the great advice that I've gotten on here. TRP has honestly changed my life.

Week 5.

Good:

Seeing great gains in the gym. I am roughly the same weight I was a month ago when I picked back up with lifting, but I am definitely stronger and can see some subtle changes to my appearance. Looks like im recomping a little bit.
Diet has been remarkable
Paid off last few expenses for trip to Europe in summer.

Bad:

Been a slow week with gaming. Was sick last weekend, didn't feel up to it to go out to the bar when I wasn't at 100% and sounded like a 70 year old chain smoker
Was trying to build some rapport with a chick whose number I got a few weeks back by texting (bad idea, I know), and tried to meet her out this week. You guessed it, she flaked for plans with a friend of hers. This proves that texting cannot build attraction, even when you're keeping it very simple, unless her SMV is lower than yours, and even then, this is the wrong way to go about it.
Am wondering about TRP's take on cars. I feel like the car I have now is kind of emasculating. Its a small sedan that im stuck on a lease for for another 2 years. The next car I get will definitely be a SUV - I feel like chicks can view the car you drive as a symbol of your status.

Positives

Changing over to the GZCL method from SL.
Starting to play chess daily to improve myself mentally all around.
Continuing daily reading and am getting close to finishing the book I am currently on then I will continue with the sidebar.
Have been doing more hip stretching to improve my overhead squat.
Not as stressed about what I want do as a career when I go to college in two years. My parents have helped relieve the stress I had about acquiring debt and I feel at this point that I would like to enter some sort of engineering career probably computer or electrical or electronics (still not entirely sure about the difference between the latter two).

Negatives

Haven’t been keeping up as well as I’d like to on NoFap
I’ve been procrastinating with a health assignment for school.
Still haven’t come up with a hobby to do to fill up my time and cut back on time I feel that is wasted.
Not drinking as much water as I’d like to daily, I usually drink 2 liters but it doesn’t feel like enough to.

Positive:

Exercise and diet are in check and on point, I am seeing great results and getting a lot of head turns and comments. My mental game is stronger and getting more flexible. I am holding myself accountable to all of my rules pretty well. There are some state of mind type rules I mess up on, but it’s less and less one to get back to a solid “me” frame. I am dressing and carrying myself better. I think I am actually producing more natural testosterone with the work I am doing. I’ve been up early every morning, with plenty of sleep.

Stuff I failed, I still overextend a bit for women. Sometimes I get a bit excited from attention and try to diffuse it with beta faggotry. Losing focus. Stuff like that. I also still spend a bit of time in procrastination. I am not sure if I could sustain constant motion, as my frame and demeanor are very exhausted by 6pm or so and I work until midnight some nights, but I am working on my cardiovascular health to see if constantly moving throughout the day is something I could pull off.

Positive: - Tonight I was able to confidently step away from a girl that had no intention of letting me go on to the next phase of sex with her. -I learned that if I cannot have things on my terms or I have to suppress my emotions for a woman it is better to step away from the situation entirely. -3 weeks of working out -3 weeks of No porn/no fap.

Negatives: -Diet is shitty -Got into a huge fight with a long time friend and had to give an ultimatum for his shitty behavior (he didn't like the pressure so he got angry, so I walked.) - Was worrying way too much about said chick until I set my boundary. -Ate like crap during my trip

Things to improve: -Hang around more high quality people. -Read more, exercise harder, and eat healthier. -Identify time wasters and emotional trappers earlier and be able to sever them from my higher thoughts.

24 y/o M
LTR of 7 years ended exactly 3 weeks ago. Found TRP 2 weeks ago and slowly started realizing what went wrong with my relationship and my attitude in general.

Negative:

Social circle needs some work, due to neglect when I was in a relationship.
Still find it hard to see relatives/friends of my ex in public. When I am not around any of them I feel like I’m getting over it but reality is a bitch.
University related focus is slowly coming back but I’m still procrastinating my thesis a bit since the breakup.

Positive:

Read a lot of posts on TRP and am trying to improve my life and my approach to life step by step.
Next to already practicing Judo, BJJ and, MMA I started lifting again and I love it.
NoFap streak of 7 days currently (which I’ve been trying to achieve for a few years) so this is a big win for me.
My cyber security startup is slowly gaining more interest and clients.
Listening to audio books again (The Game - Neill Strauss & Unfu*k yourself - Gary John Bishop)

Goals:

Improving my social skills and expanding my social circle by talking to more people in general.
Catch-up with my thesis slack.

Job is good as usually is, not hard or annoying
Started with cold showers, damn, I think I got used to them now, just do deep breathing
Learned about meditation and starting with it today when I come home

NoFap's only real benefit is psychological, almost spiritual. When I talk to a man or one of my buddies, it's a lot easier shaking his hand and looking him dead-straight in the eye when I know that theres a 90% chance he's jacked off in the bathroom only hours before, drooling all over a couple pixels on a computer screen. No matter how successful he is, no matter how much higher his status is, when I know and can confirm with probability that he's only recently done something embarrassing, humiliating, it's like I have evidence against him. This way, I'm superior to him - I'm more of a man than he is and my ego is a safe and solid step ahead of him.

A couple of days after my last post (2/3 weeks ago) I relapsed. Saturday night, I had an epic soccer tournament We got first place (6 teams) and I was undisputedly the 'man of the match'. When we went to the pool after the match, I knew I had the best body on the team, and I caught the way some girls looked at me. Two hours later, she went on a date with me. At first it went well - the conversation ran smoothly, I controlled the frame, had some good kino. I thought I couldve gotten my second kiss.

I got fuck all. After we had lunch, I didnt know what to do. I was carrying around my sports bag and didnt come home after the match. After wandering around aimlessly for a while, I smiled at her and said I had to go. Whatever. I didnt care. Smooth exit, went home, fell asleep in my clothes. That was a mistake.

Next day I was groggy, tired, sore. I was supposed to go train, some minor complication came up (the trams didnt go or something), so I dropped it. What did I do instead? Watch porn.

Yeah, from then, the week after ( easter holidays ) went the same. Going to school on Monday, though, I'm starting to get myself together. Read lots of sidebar and literature. Learning about finances, philosophy, history. Also got outstanding delegate on my MUN, and met a couple of cool friends while there. Sorry for the rant.

Was able to hook up with a girl I've thought was cute, when we were at a party. Didn't f-close tho, I had her shirt off but she said that she has a rule not to fuck until the third "date." So we made out/got to second base a bit more until she said she wanted to drink and dance more so I let her leave the room. She did say to hit her up when we were both sober tho so I think I'll text her later this week. Still a success in my book considering I haven't hooked up with someone in a long time, this shows that I actually can develop attraction but it still needs a lot of work I think
