From the comments...

As to the child support, if OP wants maximum time with his daughter (ie, custody), it would not be wise to pursue payments from the bio father.

So i guess he should be punished for some woman's mistakes for another 16 years? If he was a woman, he would have no trouble extracting child support from whomever he pleased. This is beta bucks at the point of a gun...

Nobody ever goes to r/relationships saying they regret being the alpha fuck, that's for sure.

Nobody ever goes to r/relationships saying they regret being the alpha fuck, that's for sure.

You'll see it in /r/confession sometimes, but it usually has a vibe of "look what I did, aren't I cool?" behind the "aww my life sucks" front.

It may not matter. He may have to pay her regardless of whether he has custody.

Certain states actually sanction the mother's choice of which man to extract money from- by letting her choose which man is really 'the father' regardless of biology.

She tricked him into raising another man's child as his own and she is the reason the biological father was never in the picture to begin with. If he wants custody, she (the mother) should be the one having pay up.

[–]Nutz76 60 points61 points62 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

paternity fraud should carry the same punishment as fraud and kidnapping, because when you think about it's both.

its defrauding the duped man out of resources, time, and his own genetic heritage. and It's effectively kidnapping the child from the biological father.

[–]PerniciousOne 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it is even worse, because there is almost no legal recourse for the duped father. Paternity tests should be required before a person's name can be put on the birth certificate.

[–]zarnovich 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm in agreement that the punishment should be something on those lines.
When I worked for the state I think the pitch I heard was something on the lines that a state will not bastardize a child. By that I mean, the state won't actively pursue trying to break up a legally established family (and if your duped, though it sucks, the family is still legal - I've seen non bio fathers get stuck with child support). You pretty much have to go to court yourself and disprove paternity.

[–]Nutz76 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A paternity test should be legally required before one cent of child support is transferred. None of this "well you were the dad for 5 years and the cutoff to not have to pay is 4 years, so tough shit". Nope. There's a dad out there somewhere and if the mom or state wants a man to pay CS they can tap him instead.

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is also committing fraud against the child. Being lied to about who his/her biological father is, as well as being denied knowledge of at least half* of their own real genetic/family history, and instead being fed a false genetic history (which could prove life threatening in terms of susceptibility to disease, etc.)

*I say at least half, because in many families this is a multi-generation thing, not only is "dad" not the biological father (so 1/2 of their genes are a mystery), but "grandpa" isn't the biological grandfather either (which means only 1/2 of "mom's" genes are what they are purported to be; meaning 3/4 of the genetic/family history is false)... and of course if this happened for 3, 4 or more of the matrilineal generations then the actual KNOWN genetic heritage continues to decrease: from 1/2 to 1/4 to 1/8 to 1/16, etc.

Basically -- if daughter follows mother's example (and we all know that more often than not they do), and mom followed grandma, grandma followed great-grandma... then the latter child's entire "family history" may very well be mainly (almost completely) false/fictional ... or virtually unknown.

BTW, and the above is not some "out there" possibility. I personally know of kids who not only don't know their fathers, but for whom their so called "maternal grandpa" was in fact NOT the father of their mom, and the same on back at least 3 more generations: "Fiona" the great grandmother claims she doesn't know for certain who the father of her daughter (now "grandma") actually was (it could have been "Carl" or it could have been "Dave", and there is the possibility it was "Ernie"); likewise with "grandma" and her daughter... and the same with the latest "mom"... so less than 1/8 of the genetic/family history is of any relevance to, or can even be identified by, the latest generation. So much for that "family medical history" when talking to a doctor.

In terms of their actual genetic relationships, the latest generation of kids may as well be adopted orphans -- because they are biologically/genetically speaking almost COMPLETE "strangers" to their so called relatives & family -- genetically they have almost nothing in common with any of them (far, far less than even normal cousins or second-cousins).

Also, you are a good father for remaining in your daughter's life. We could all be so lucky to have such a loving father. :-/

Here's another:

For what it's worth, it's still your daughter. Don't let genetics take that away from you. It's not her fault your wife cheated, and you're the only dad she knows. Sounds like you still want to be there for her, and that's great.

No. It's superdick's daughter. You're just being pressured by society to be the beta bucks to her alpha fucks. She's TWO years old, put her on superdick's plate.

I wouldn't ever sign a birth certificate or make any legal moves until the kid is paternity tested. The wife can shit-test me all she wants, but a paternity test is the only way forward.

I think /u/RAPT0RJESUS might have jumped into the fray from this thread despite the np.reddit.com link. Either that or the terminology in use here has spread out to the rest of Reddit. I am not a fan of brigading when SRS or one of the other SJW hangouts does it so I can't support a comment doing the same from TRP.

Beta bux.

If he loves this girl and wants to remain the father in her life, that's his prerogative. I don't see it making him beta nor alpha.

But yes, ending up in this situation in the first place is whole different ordeal though.

[–]yoursisterlovedick5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

You get downvoted because many people in this subreddit follow an almost autistic way of thinking about swallowing the red pill.

He spend two years with a child, and at that age it's already talking and probably calling him daddy. It would be odd if he could just say, "No, isn't mine, goodbye." It's a shitty situation and he should have found out earlier. Now he's emotionally stuck with a child that isn't his.

[–]acedannyace0 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I guess id be a beta too, If my I had a daughter for two years and found out she wasnt mine id have a real difficult time giving her up. Nevermind my poor parents who would lose their grandaughter.

Truely awful situation.

[–]yoursisterlovedick 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's hard to say what I would do. My weakness and my grace is that I love children but I always live an independent life which make starting a family difficult. I hate categorizing everything in "beta" and "alpha". Getting emotionally attached to an innocent child isn't beta, it's human. I would probably leave if the child were only two, but if she/he were six I couldn't bring myself to say: "I'm not you're father, leave me alone."

I have a strong fatherly instinct, which applies to all children (and sweet teenage girls), but it's totally contradictory to my otherwise antisocial personality. Fuck it, I could never hurt an innocent child even if it weren't my own.

[–]KBURN 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We probably can empathise with his situation, because we're reasonable human beings. However, it is NOT in his logical and emotional interest to raise that child.

Ultimately, as a man, he will want to spread his genes far and wide. This child is nothing but a hinderance and competitor to that.

He is just taking care of the biological legacy of his slut-traitor, and the arsehole who screwed him over, protecting them, nurturing them, loving them, while his own genes and lineage dies out.

Mark my words, when the child turns old enough to understand, she'll seek out her "real father", and will definately stick with him, as he's rich and loaded.

I would start calling his "daughter" "the child" straight away, and start treating it like an object. Fucking cold, but it helps put the emotional distance he needs

[–]gprime312 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why downvotes? So we should pity him because he wants to continue to raise the child he's already invested two years in?

He feels ashamed and hurt. Cheating wife is one thing, learning your kid is not really yours is another.

Firstly, in original post, he had suspicions (almost certainty) his wife was fucking her boss. She was going for trips with him, many nights spent in the "office" and great amount of costly presents, jewelry etc.

Someone in comments suggested he tests his 4 year old, if I remember correctly, daughter. He did. She's not his.

Mandatory DNA testing at birth. We have the technology. It's inexpensive. Why has this not been legislated?

There would be a brief period of total societal upheaval as the true scale of female infidelity became clear. After that there would be a new (and more sustainable) equilibrium found with either more reasonable male social obligations or less frequent female infidelity.

"Why are you afraid of certainty?"

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Best answer.

People who are afraid of having their claims tested/verified... are well aware that they are lying (or at least potentially lying).

The accountant who has done a superb/ethical job of maintaining the books has absolutely ZERO fears regarding an "independent audit" of the books (they know the most it will turn up is that some expense maybe could have been put under category X instead of category Y -- and that those things are sometimes debatable regardless).

Any accountant who responds to the suggestion of an audit with: "But don't you trust me?" well... the warning bells should immediately start ringing!

There are so many barriers to men checking at birth. Firstly the doctors and society will look down on the man for doing so (wouldn't be the case if mandated. Secondly most women would pull out all stops of craziness to stop the man from doing this.

[–]TRP VanguardVZPurp 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Shame is powerful. Train to resist

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Firstly the doctors and society will look down on the man for doing so

1) Bullshit. I know of several cases where guys have demanded paternity tests -- they may have gotten a bit of "flack", but since their suspicions were confirmed that disappeared and instead the doctors and family APOLOGIZED. And in one case it was in fact the family and friends (i.e. "society") who pushed/forced the guy into getting the paternity test (the friends all knew his GF was a "slut" even if he was in denial, and the family {wealthy} smelled "gold digger").

2) What the doctors may "think" is fucking irrelevant -- THEY are not the ones being potentially burdened with 20+ years of indentured servitude.

3) Basically it's a LAB test... doctors do hundreds (thousands) of entirely unnecessary lab tests every year -- chiefly or even solely TO COVER THEIR OWN ARSES -- so who is kidding who here.

Secondly most women would pull out all stops of craziness to stop the man from doing this.

Can you say RED FLAG? Can you say ALARM BELLS ringing "like crazy".

ANY woman who FEARS a paternity suit... has been lying and hiding her own sluttiness (IOW even if the kid IS his, it's only by sheer "luck" as her protest means she HAS been sleeping around.)

As I pointed out in another comment ITT, no accountant who has been doing a good/ethical job maintaining accounting books ever has any fear of an independent audit of the books. And any accountant who DOES fear it: has by definition been engaged in either fraud/theft, or otherwise at least been very "sloppy" in their work.

[–]abcd_z 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because most guys don't want to believe that their woman could cheat on them. "She's different", "She's not like the other's", "She's a quality woman, she wouldn't do that to me", Etc.

If you refuse to accept a possibility, it becomes impossible to guard against it.

THIS. No new law is necessary.

Men already have the right -- just generally not the balls or brains -- to demand verification, and they pretty much have has that right for decades.*

Why do most men NOT do it? Because it is not considered "politically correct".

*There were 3 guys I knew personally in my twenties (egads 3 decades ago already!) who within about a year of each other had each been told by their girlfriend that she was pregnant and it was "their kid".

Two of them had paternity tests done (one because he didn't buy the BS himself, the second because his family {very wealthy} basically smelled "gold digger" and pushed/coerced him to get it done) and found out the kid wasn't theirs.

The third one... married his little bitch, only to find out a decade later (when "wifey" wasn't haaappyy anymore and wanted a divorce and threw it at him -- i.e. openly stating that she knew all along the kid wasn't his -- while of course still tying him down with child support; and he had become attached to the kid as well, having raised the boy thinking it was his son; to the kid's credit he see's his "mom" as a bitch-slut, and actually prefers his non-bio "dad").

While I know that's anecdotal... it sure as hell kept me from falling for any BS from females.

[–]nonservator -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If they don't obey and you are stuck with the bill for a kid you didn't father it means guns for you.

[–]nonservator 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If you want a paternity test in America, noone's stopping you. This isn't France.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I'm not American and in my country of birth it's kinda difficult to get the paternity tested. Also, as others have mentioned if the test is not mandatory you have to deal with

  • the mother getting pissed off - 'why are you not trusting me'?
  • endangering the relationship
  • others shaming you for not trusting the mother

I think it would be easier for everyone if it's just done routinely in the hospital after birth. If both mother and father agree you should be able to opt out of it. Although I fail to see the reason for that.

[–]nonservator 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's a lot easier to deal with the things you mentioned than it is to deal with the gun of the law saying, "If you disobey, you will be killed."

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

*the mother getting pissed off - 'why are you not trusting me'?

I am not trusting you because in demanding "trust" you highlight that you are not trustworthy -- else you would have nothing to fear.

Think about it. If only one dick had been in her during that time-frame (even if there had been several during the years before) -- then there would be no question in her mind who the father was, and she would have zero need to protest.

I think it would be easier for everyone if it's just done routinely in the hospital after birth.

Ironically enough, many times it effectively IS done (alongside or via a bunch of other genetic tests*, and sometimes by the specific request of the mother, who then hides the results)... the results that contraindicate him as the "father" are just not shared with him (see the results are considered the "private" health-care information of the mother) -- technically a non-bio-father is seen as having zero "right to know" in that scenario.

*There are a host of pregnancy and post-birth infant genetic tests that -- while not technically speaking, being "paternity" tests, do in fact end up being very much that -- they reveal information that categorically rule outs the husband as father (versus his family medical history).

Most men sign off saying they are the father when the child is born. I forget what it's called, but I think there is a form. They are well within their rights not to, test, and then follow up later. If they never sign paternity would have to be proven. Unfortunately, "Nah babe, let's get a test first before I sign." rarely would go over well.

Mandatory DNA testing at birth. We have the technology. It's inexpensive. Why has this not been legislated?

Because over half of the voters do not want it.

I think the ONLY way such a law could ever be passed is if/when it is done "for the sake of the CHILDREN" -- i.e. so that they will be able to KNOW (for certain) their ENTIRE genetic/family medical history, at least back one generation. (IOW if "dad" isn't actually "bio-dad" then the fact that "grandma" {dad's mom} had aggressive breast-cancer is irrelevant to the child in the same way that an adopted parent's family medical history is irrelevant -- or said another way, as they did on that episode of "House, M.D." genetics isn't about determining "Who loves the child the most in the whole wide world!" it has many other consequences in the child's life.)

That law would totally ruin my strategy of raw dogging it with ovulating married women. But seriously, there's nothing stopping you from getting a paternity test done yourself. Now, if you want to change some laws on the subject, I'd start with the law that makes any paternity testing ILLEGAL in France except by court order. Can't have that bullshit catching on.

Always test, gentlemen. Unless you're married and she's almost definitely not fucking me, in which case I say you should just trust her and not ask any questions /s

I can't imagine the pain this guy is feeling. Women who do that to their husbands should be stoned to death. I don't think they get a slightest grasp of their cruelty. Female solipsism probably makes it impossible to think about what she's doing to that man.

Now after years of putting love, emotions and money in "his" daughter he learns that this kid is not his and to add, all she is now is a reminder how much time he wasted with her whore of a mother and how she made a fool of himself.

This is a good lesson for all of us. Don't sign anything until you do a DNA test on the newborn. If you have kids already, do paternity test on them. If you live in France, go on short vacation to UK and be sneaky about testing cause lefties there put 15k euro punishment for doing so.

Anyway, if real father is not found he will pay alimony for that girl even though she's not his. His soon to be ex-wife will get the house. He can go and live on the street. Equality.

Wow that's not biased as fuck is it, giving whores the power to dictate "your right to know"

Germany is also the country where 25% of men think that perfect family size is 0...

No surprise.

Minimum 50% of them were force-fed the RP at and early age.

Yeah in another thread someone was talking about how Germany is so heavily in favor of the mother it's not even funny. I think it makes places like Sweden or France look tame. She can just take the kid and go across the country and not tell you where the lives and still get child support and bah blah and you have no right to see your kid, etc... and that's for when the kid is yours genetically.

Technically you dont need any permission to do anything, just take the kid for a trip across the border into another EU country and get the test done there. Follow local laws instead of a single country's law, thats how multinational corporations do shit.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I totally agree with your point. I just wanted to add that at least for the US, citizens are bound by US law even while abroad and could theoretically be charged once state side. For (a bad) example, if you went to Amsterdam and paid to sleep with a prostitute, you could still be charged for it back in the United States. Granted, this law is not meant to ensnare petty offenders.

Women who do that to their husbands should be stoned to death.

Come on, I don't think this warrants a death sentence. While it pisses me off to read that she did that, I wouldn't wish death upon her.

[–]ar10308 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

It demonstrates her willingness to throw a man's life away. Death is deserved.

[–]BorMato -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Dude, she didn't murder him or anything. Yeah infidelity is unacceptable, but she definitely shouldn't be killed for it.

Just to be fair, what about men who cheat on their wives and ruin their marriages? What if they throw away their marriage and cheat, divorce and leave the kids with a single-mother to deal with? Does that warrant an execution for him?

I am in NOOOO way saying what she did was ok, but to put someone to death for it?? Shit man that's a step too much.

[–]Endorsed Contributor30303030303030 16 points17 points18 points 12 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah infidelity is unacceptable

It's not about the infidelity. It's about telling a man that not his child is his. He put years of emotions and money in her being certain that she's his offspring. Can you even try to imagine how he must feel?

Are you a woman?

Just to be fair, what about men who cheat on their wives and ruin their marriages?

Again, it's not about the cheating only, it's about the kid. You completely miss the most important part if this story.

What if they throw away their marriage and cheat, divorce and leave the kids with a single-mother to deal with?

Mother gets the house, kids, alimony and child support. She's set to do whatever she wants. Father may end up on the street. What's funny, even if woman cheats and there are kids involved it usually ends quite similarly. Women win divorce cases.

Yeah the post got deleted so it was tough for me to fill in all the blanks so good call on the child stuff.

However, I still don't see how ending her life is justified. I mean if you did that, the kid would be without a mom and no one wants that.

I agree with everything you're saying except the death sentence stuff. Too extreme of a step to take IMO

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

and you think sucha woman should raise a child? the child can go the actual father.

[–]BorMato -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And no I am not a woman

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

its not the infidelity its tricking him into thinking hes the father when hes not.

One of the Great Books For Men says it is justification for being stoned for any adulterer.

Female solipsism probably makes it impossible to think about what she's doing to that man.

OR to the child.

It is entirely "self-centered".

Im a fence sitter, and I disagree with a lot of the more extreme views in TRP...

But to me - no he is not a good father, He is a mug. This women gets her cake and gets to eat it by him splitting up with her and still supporting someone else's child.

He is being coerced into this role by the abuse of feelings of attachment that have developed over time and forced/back patted into continuing this farce by social perceptions of his 'role', which only encourages this behavior even more.

Further more his feelings for this child might seem real, but they are based on a lie over time he will come to realise this and reduce contact (or be forcibly reduced by his Ex if he only wants emotional contact and is not prepared to support her fianancially).

You feel this way because she committed paternity fraud. What he should do is demand she be tried for fraud which is legally defined as at least in Canada...

  1. (1) Every one who, by deceit, falsehood or other fraudulent means, whether or not it is a false pretence within the meaning of this Act, defrauds the public or any person, whether ascertained or not, of any property, money or valuable security or any service, (a) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding fourteen years, where the subject-matter of the offence is a testamentary instrument or the value of the subject-matter of the offence exceeds five thousand dollars; or (b) is guilty (i) of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or (ii) of an offence punishable on summary conviction, where the value of the subject-matter of the offence does not exceed five thousand dollars.

Source Wikipedia

I dont know but the idea that raising a kid takes $225,000/yr certainly would put it in the realm of an indictable offence (basically like a felony in the US).

Take these lying bitches to court with fraud charges and you'll see them stop lying about the paternity of their kid very quickly.

[–]TRP Vanguard: "Dark Triad Expert"IllimitableMan 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Paternity fraud SHOULD DEFINITELY BE ILLEGAL. It's insane this kind of fraud is not punished. I think the thing here is if it was legal it would definitely expose female infidelity, not just because we'd see how many kids don't belong to their supposed fathers, but women would be forced to face themselves - to admit to themselves they're contemptible irresponsible sluts because they have no idea who the actual fuck the father is from all the dick they've had.

Then they'd have to get every man tested just to find out who the actual father is, way more hassle than just finding a nice guy, lying, latching on and telling him it's his, which is what these no good lying hos have been doing for centuries.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hell yeah... except centuries ago those sluts didnt have to contend with the power of truth that a DNA test provides ;)

No wonder they're trying so hard to ban paternity tests. I think the marginal percentage for kids who arent their father's genetic legacy are probably as high as 10% in the general population (and as high as 30% in the 'suspicious' population if recent threads are any indicator)

I never understood the whole "But it's your child!" thing if they are younger than the age of 12. The girl is only 2 years old. The average child being born nowadays is gonna live to be close to 100 so it makes sense to part ways right now before its brain starta fully developing and it becomes legitimately attached to the dude.

2 years is a long time (especially the first 2 years of a child's life) and the bond that built between them can't just be thrown aside.

I'm sure it's a very intimate connection. Any kid that old is just a baby, there's no connection whatsoever (although some people want us to believe there is).

The kid's 2 years old, meaning the man's got enough time to start over properly. This is not his kid. As much as society wants to deny it, GENETICS MATTER.

The idea behind TRP is "the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth". Words have no power over nature - saying "genetics don't matter" a million times won't make it true.

Beyond that, the man can do as he pleases, if he loves this girl like his daughter (which he obviously does) and chooses to stay in her life than that is his decision and it's not an alpha or beta one.

This is a bit what bothers me. I agree that if a man has a special bond with someone he raised, he shouldn't abandon that person just because of genetics.

HOWEVER, my point is that his "love" for the child is a delusion. It's a 2y/o kid, there is no "deep" connection. The child is still an undeveloped human being, with no personality whatsoever; nothing but survival instinct (which it received via DNA). Choosing not ignore that makes his behaviour beta imo.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Except Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks forces the guy to do it.

If the guy wants to do it because he feels sorry for the kid that's a different situation than if the guy is forced to by the state do the same thing. The difference is choice in the matter. That said, I would think most guys would help with the kid, probably not as much as the state would require (because you know to support the kid you have to indirectly support the mother as well, thanks to child support that just as likely is to go towards buying mommy booze and stuff as it is to buying the kid some clothes.
