So on various plates over the last year I've been giving them nicknames. This started as a way for me to speak about plates to other plates without giving away too much information and to identify them on forums. Over the last three months my plates are always referred to by their nicknames by me.

I've been testing out ideas of using their given name in specific times compared to when I use their nickname. I'm the only person that calls then by their nicknames as well. I'm finding that this allows them a sense of almost creating a new identity when they are with me. They are no longer the girl with their given name that mom and dad calls them. But that is who they are with me.

And when I selectively use their real name it's almost like it shocks them and disturbs the frame I've created for them. On one plate especially, dog trainer girl, I've been watching how I can now rattle her emotions and imprint this effect by selectively using her given name during emotional times alone. All other times when she is with me I am habitually referring to her with her nickname. When I give her an order (come over here nickname, get my phone nickname, etc) it's always with the name I've given her.

Yesterday I watched dog trainer plate as I casually called her by her given name and saw how this disrupted her and created some instability in her hamster. It disrupted her frame as part of her frame with me is that nickname.

I've found that this is working better with the plates who get nicknames immediately. By getting a nickname within our first three interactions it seems to help draw her into my frame.

Anyone else tried this? Give it a try. Any suggestions?
