I love being the wife who does this kind of thing.

I reap the benefits of the extra hour or two I have after he’s left for work and before the rest of my day begins.

The satisfaction of doing something for someone else, something that you pour your heart into, is great. Both parties thrive on that type of love.

My wife prepares my lunch everyday since we had our daughter. I also get a bonus lovely word in everyone of these delicious lunch. If, for some reason, I want to eat out with the boys, she gets a bit upset because she really love to cook for me. I think I'm very lucky.

I think the best part of this was the woman admitting that she simply wasn't good enough at cleaning and cooking to operate under the delusion that she could get by on those skills alone. Suffice it to say, I think most of the guys here wouldn't mind working plenty hard to support a woman who could actually take pride in her ability to tend to her nest.

Female here (gasp, yes in redpill male territory) this is how i was raised and taking care of the male spouse like this is what i consider part of the job description of being a wife. After checking out this sub, i had no idea what the aweful feminists were doing to guys. I've read No More Mr Nice Guy several times lately. This sort of thing is something that is covered. You give while you expect to get something in return and if the other person does not live up to this covert contract you've made then it breeds resentment.

This woman gets it. It is about giving out of abundance. Giving without expecting anything in return.

This is exactly how my wife is about mornings, and her friends don't get it. Some of them even get up at 4 AM to go running, and then don't make breakfast for their husbands. I asked my wife once why she does it, because I could easily do it myself. She told me that it's the least she could do for me if I'm willing to go out every day and work hard to keep a roof over her head.

When I think about getting married, this is the type of woman I envision. She seems like she has the right motivations in this relationship, and it's important to point out that she still has her own career. Does making that sack lunch make her a slave? No. She's in a give and take marriage.

Though a lot of women share similar tendencies, not all women are built equal. This woman has far higher value in my eyes than most. Her husband did well.

It is a sad, sad day when a woman who does a favor for her man is suspiciously questioned by other women. "WTF? Are you an oppressed throwback to the dark ages? Does your husband beat you? You don't have to do anything for him, you know. Just hang out and collect his paychecks, and divorce-rape him if you get bored or if he starts doing something stupid like wondering what the hell you add to the marriage. He is lucky just to have anyone."

It is, all joking aside, considered a serious relationship error for a woman to set a precedent for "serving" a man in any way. I'm surprised there hasn't been a mass movement to silence her and shut down her site for promoting hate speech and oppression.

Great piece. Here's the thing, it's got nothing to do with the lunch. She has created a ritual (something a lot of us in this sub could use). This specific ritual satisfies a lot of things for her. She gets to contribute to their marriage, the husband is fed, and fed well from the sounds of it. They're both fulfilled. It's truly a partnership. She utilizes that time for her own things and accomplishes them. Her husband is obviously happy with the fact that his lady is doing this for him, but he's also spending time with her, and that is worth the time.

My wife does similar things for me, as well as taking care of the house and all the little things while I am off at work.

It makes us SO much happier because it means that we get more quality time together on the weekends and after work.

We aren't trying to get all the housework and everything else done, like we would be if she was working full time.

What a gal. She hit it right on the nose with 'what doe she do for you?' Relationships are so often seen as a business arrangement. If she didn't want to do it, she wouldn't. Not much he just provides a roof over her head, food on the table, clothes on her back is the father of her children, and probably many modern conveniences that are now part of most peoples lives.
