Ditto. I stopped hugs, Valentine's Day, compliments (unless just spontaneous), and any type of 'girl friend' behavior for my wife. I go to the gym when I want. I choose what food I eat and when. I even started video games which she hates.

Granted, I did not stop pulling my end around the house. But instead of her 'honey due' list, I have my own list and my own priority of what gets done and when. This has lowered her whiny nagging quite a bit.

Regarding intimacy in my life, it's been addressed but I won't share how here.

Dead bedrooms is a depressing sub. I just want to shake that guy until he gets it. At least someone has already pointed him towards TRP, hopefully he has the balls to take something from here and improve his situation. By his own admission everything else he's tried (all the predictable advice) has failed him.

I often hear the men age like wine analogy and it holds true under the right circumstances. However unless you push yourself and seek continuous improvement, well you're gonna be this guy - 54 years old in a sexless marriage, depressed and with zero confidence. Take the fucking pill man.

I fear this is the case for my father... Even if he has a low libido, the case isn't made any better, because that means he's got rock bottom testosterone which will make him feel like shit all over.

Anyway, he focusses on his own hobbies more than her so I hope she still feels attracted to him.
