People generally present a rather bland and boring facade because they are afraid others will judge them for being different.

Letting people let out these hidden parts of themselves is a fine art. Once they get started talking about their inner crazy, they will find it hard to stop because they rarely get a chance to let that side out.

There are more interesting stories in people than you likely give them credit for. It is a matter of getting them to let you in on these stories that is more difficult.

This is why all guys should try and develop a 60 to 90 second one man conversation, that can flow with minimal verbal investment on her part. this will give you a fighting chance of demonstrating value to get her attention.

What's the best thing to do?

Stop worrying about people who don't live up to your standards and spend time with those who do, or become the kind of person interesting people want to be around . Ranting on TRP about how things should be, instead of dealing with how they are, isn't helping anybody.

tl;dr: Stop wasting your time with low quality people, regardless of their gender.

Unfortunately, women are trained to be bland in order to attract a mate. Usually a man wants a woman to flatter and mirror back his own awesomeness to himself.

It's honestly really rare for a man to want a good talker who's a nice solid lay. Men keep those characteristics to separate women.

Also, the hard part is when a conversation veers into a debate that a man must "win" at all costs. Passionate Disagreement with a guy is a one-way ticket to no sex with said guy.

Hence, hot but bland women whose brains rattle around in their head like when you shake a spraypaint can clackety clackety clack!

well, how much of a personality would you need to develop when it's not the one thing people come to you for. I've had way more fun banter and discussion with girls that aren't pretty compared to the ones who are. Pretty girls just seem to ride on their looks and nothing else

I think women are so used to people constantly worrying about them or thinking about them or showing interest in them and doing most of the conversation, that they never had to even think about what it's like to ask others how they are doing or what they like or what they are about.

Use questions to get them participated in the conversation, never judge what you hear, be sympathetic and it creates an air of being easy to talk to, once they feel safe they'll slowly start to open up more and share things willingly.

I think a lot of women are scared of not being very interesting, men have lots of hobbies and things they can talk at length about that aren't as shallow as womens interests, that's scary for some women, and rightfully so, but it's something you can ease them into.

Women are geared up to talk. If your doing all the talking then there's something your doing wrong. It maybe because your being too intellectual or not listening, I don't know.

This has been my problem for most of my life. As a tech guy I am genuinely interested in science and stuff, so when I talk to women I get hyper-bored very soon. I manage to mitigate that by asking them about their travelling, and if I am not so lucky, about movies they have watched or some stories they have to share. After a session or two, I have to recharge my brain with TIL or some good book.

Usually, the most interesting stories that women have to share, unless they are spies, are those involving anything sexual. Those are exactly the stories they share with their girlfriends. However, you prolly won't get to that, unless you are deeply friendzoned, since it shows lack of accountability on their part.

Other topics include constant bitching, nest decoring and everything related to menstruation. Sad reality we live in.
