It's ok. I still remember some months back when this subreddit was between 10-15k. There are lots of new guys figuring stuff out, and they haven't fully internalized it. It's a good reminder though.

Maybe mainstream society encourages it because oneitis is epidemic. For some reason many men believe if they say or do the right thing, they can get any woman. It's not true and will make you miserable.

I think guys new to PUA info will start thinking they can use these techniques to "game" that girl they're into. It's not the way things work, but they maybe don't understand that yet.

Oneitis is a real trap that guys fall into without even realizing it. Plate strategy is good for avoiding it.

There's been a lot of posts among the redpill subreddits about how to game or "get" a specific girl.

I find that people who come for specific advice on how to get a particular girl are doing it because they may not have completely absorbed the AWALT theory.

I figure guys who learn how to game a specific woman will understand eventually that the same tactics work for all women because ultimately all women are like that.

I agree! With that being said a good starting point that has worked well for me is just not giving a fuck.

Kinda like not making a throwaway in fear of losing precious karma. Not 100% sure why some people do it in this sub, maybe friends know their names or something. Idk.

A major part of TRP is taking the nature of women (and ourselves) as they are in reality instead of what they are in some fantasy scenario that we have been fed by outside sources so that we can use effective, reality-based strategies to better succeed. Whether this is having better success with women or better success with life in general, the same principle applies of dealing with reality instead of the fantasy world.

With that having been said: While I think that there is something to be said for developing strategies to deal with specific types of girls, I don't think that it's a sign of oneitis in and of itself.

The worries I've had about TRP is that when everyone post a lot of semi rp people will voice their not yet matured opinions onto a lot of new people, and in turn these new people will like what they hear and upvote/ adopt these incomplete ways.

So far voting has kept most stupid posts and opinions down and good legit RP content up. But every once in a while I see a stupid complaining post about some political matter or hate spewing with tons of up votes and visibility.

Distilled RP is hard to come by. Even here. I suggest everyone to speak less and listen more to your elders. Let those who have pondered these ways for years teach us rather than posting with your 6 months of experience.

Women are the gate keepers to sex, but men are the gate keepers to comfort, security, companionship and FEMININE VALIDATION. As the OP wrote, you are the prize. Improve yourself to DRAW your options, but DO NOT validate substandard females with anymore than you WANT from them.

Please stop. You are just a concern troll that has no idea about TRP.

TRP is about understanding the social market and using it for your advantage. Hence "TRP is a toolbox, you can do with it whatever you want."

If you want to get a specific girl, then use your knowledge and get her. TRP tells you that your odds are better when you don't have oneitis, so crush it and then pick her up. TRP-Knowledge just got you your girl and you reached your goal.

The goal is different for everyone. Yes, maybe you have to improve yourself to get her, but there is much much more than improvement to TRP.

And when you improve yourself, you can have any girl you want

You know, that sounds like a trick your mother told you. If you work hard you can manage x, if you work really hard you can mange XXX.
