The point I'd like to make with this study in mind:

You can change your personality. Your not stuck with traits you got from your childhood, genetics, or other environmental factors. Want to be more confident? More masculine? More social and energetic? More "alpha"? It is as simple as setting that mental change as a goal, making a timeline and plan for it, and then actively working towards it.

I thought this was really cool and worth sharing because a lot of times I see people recommending tricks and tips to keep their confidence or frame up. Keeping an "I am the prize" or "abundance mentality" or "no woman is really worth it anyway" kind of mindset. Basically tips and tricks to re-frame the situation so that no matter what you interpret yourself as the winner and nothing is REALLY bad or REALLY hurting you. I personally think that's just trying to mask your insecurity or "hamster" your mind into feeling nice when all it really takes to remain truly confident and independent is hard work and willpower. I think you should face rejection, inadequacy, and your own personal flaws and instead of covering them, or trying to change the angle in which you view them, face them head on and overcome them.

I think this is great because it can apply to so much in life. Dieting, confidence, study habits, stress, whatever your issue. The truth is it all the gimmicks and tricks and tips don't mean shit. In the end it comes down to your own willpower, which is scary, because failure or success is all on you. But its also exciting, because you really are the captain of your ship, and you get to decide your personal outcome. Its all down to you. I hope this helps some of you guys get motivated enough to make some changes in your life.

TL;DR: Mental change can be made through sheer effort. No tricks, no games, no shortcuts. Willpower and a clear goal is all it takes to mold your personality the way you want it to be.
