Yep. TRP wants to get to the mountaintop, feminists want the mountain razed to wherever they are standing
[–]enclosed1012 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It just occurred to me that "raze" and "raise" have almost completely opposite meanings.

Red Pillers wish to raise the mountain, Feminists wish to raze the mountain
Inspirational quote for the day

I love this quote. Do you happen to know who wrote it originally?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No idea, but I'd bet on Roosh. It gets thrown around here a lot.

Good stuff.
The underlying philosophical basis of feminism is universally loathsome: good feminism, bad feminism, beneficent feminism, malignant feminism... It doesn't matter, they are all toxic forms of herd ressentiment against the privileged, characteristic for slave morality.
"I am good because I'm small, helpless, and victimized."
"You are evil because you are big, strong, and successful!"

"I am good because I'm small, helpless, and victimized." "You are evil because you are big, strong, and successful!"
Feminism. And liberalism.
[–]Senior ContributorSkorchZang6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
The flipside, or the opposite of slave-mode moral evaluations is Master Morality which says:
I am big, strong, and successful THEREFORE good. You are small, weak, and pathetic - thus bad."
There is no hesitation there to instantly judge that which didn't make the grade, didn't come out right, was botched, meddled with, or ruined by some outside forces. (Observe that contrast, the weak and botched is here merely seen as self-evidently "bad", whereas to the slave, the strong and privileged are always fundamentally the evil ones - the oppressors.)
Nowadays you must always dress up what you have to say to appease the ambient slave morality "code", which can be summarized as "victim good, oppressor evil".
What about "oppressor good, victim bad"? Is that noble, quintessentially masculine way of evaluating forbidden altogether, itself a rapacious thoughtcrime?
[–]Pattheboss560 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"Successful" is not synonymous with "oppressor". I don't see anything wrong with working your way from the bottom to the top and reaping the benefits, I believe that is good. What is bad is starting on the bottom and, instead of working to improve yourself, whine about being victimized Success-good Whining, victimization-bad

Well being alpha male is different from being a successful business mogul.
I think alpha men are more likely to be somewhat caring, and help other people down in the dumps rise up and get to where they are.
The successful republican business types are usually complete sociopaths who would literally step on a poor family in order to raise their stock value.
One is typically a lot more evil. (Granted there are some alpha guys who run all over betas)

What's ironic is that while it increases women's social power, it requires them to act like above, so it makes them miserable and unhappy women try to conform to the victim mold.
Back in the day when I was going to high school and college, it was "I am suicidal and have an eating disorder so I'm important".
You will now see women trying to make their lives into a living hell, to comform with the "everyday harrassment" meme for things they used to not think much of.
This is why most actual women nowadays say "I'm not a feminist". Who wants power when it comes at the cost of masochistically hurting yourself?

Being, or at least feeling like you are, oppressed does not make you enlightened.

we accept reality, and we choose to play the game.
And if you get sick of the game or choose not to, then you will be MGTOW.
[–]Villaintine0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I find this to be the logical conclusion of TRP anyway. All MGTOWs outside the last two levels (rejection of short-term relationships and economic disengagement) are no different than common TRP'ers.
[–]tallwheel-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah. I think the best route is to go red pill and fuck some sluts when you're younger, maybe even try a relationshit (while exercising extreme caution, of course), then go MGTOW once you've either had enough or your sex drive goes down enough.

Reading redpill actually made me less misogynistic, and like women more, but without the princessy shit. Imagine a whale going up to Elliot Rodgers and touching his dick and see what he'd do, of course it's fine for him to have preferences. Women can like what ever the fuck they want, feminists are mad that we teach this because they have less reason to hate us, so they say we teach the opposite lol. What are they looking for more than for targets to shit on?
http://www.alternet.org/how-pick-artist-philosophy-and-its-more-misogynist-backlash-shaped-mind-alleged-killer-elliot-rodger
Articles like this get it so fucking backwards. If "men are fine the way they are" like we teach then why the fuck would we teach pick up..

Reading redpill actually made me less misogynistic
RP'ers have a more healthy view of women than mainstream BP'ers do. No pedestalization, no treating them like princesses. Feminists always charge that women should be treated as normal human beings, probably the only good advice they give.
It's BP'ers that prop up a delusional fantasy of how to act around women.
[–]eisbaerBorealis3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
So does that mean RPW are women who have made it out of the mourning phase and have started to accept responsibility in becoming more successful with the opposite gender? (newb here)
[–]goodguy29[S] 14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I believe so. The most upvoted post on the redpill women sub says it very well:
"women are the gatekeepers of sex and men are the gatekeepers of commitment, so RPW works toward keeping women from squandering sex while working towards obtaining commitment, and TRP works toward keeping men from squandering commitment while working towards obtaining sex."

[–]ablank1313 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I thin that the differences between the two are mainly the focuses of the "movements". TRP is a very individual thing, whereas feminism seeks a societal change.
[–]TRP VanguardCyralea1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's what I see as the difference: A feminist is perpetually stuck in the mourning phase. She cannot, nor will she ever, accept reality and move on.
The first part of overcoming adversity is admitting you have a problem. Feminists flat out deny that they are their own source of misery, the same way an alcoholic does. Instead of interventions, feminists gather together to pile on more of their mental drug.
Feminists are damaged.
[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's what I see as the difference: A feminist is perpetually stuck in the mourning phase. She cannot, nor will she ever, accept reality and move on. She resolves to continue battling nature for the rest of her life, deluding herself into thinking she can change the biology of billions of men. Amazingly, she really believes that a man's aversion to an overweight / post-wall / post-carousel female is a product of misogyny and patriarchy rather than raw biology, and that it's her duty to help reverse this social ill. If men aren't attracted to her, it's the fault of men, patriarchy, society, the media -- anyone but herself. Therefore she should not have to change. So she never does.
Gold. I wondered that myself, by the way, because in many ways agents of the manosphere and those of feminism are equally vitriolic and adversial not just towards its opponents, but towards the other gender as a whole.
But regardless of how people stand to the basic tenets of the Women's Rights Movement (and I think they actually did have quite a bunch of very reasonable and legitimate claims, even if that will probably get me drawn and quartered here), the fundamental difference between feminism (not just radical feminism) and TRP is that while TRP tries to play in the system, feminism wants to transform it so it conforms to its ideology instead of adapting to reality.

I work my ass off to become what women are naturally attracted
Agree apart from this. This isn't why I work my ass off. At least, not anymore.
[–]TheGreenPill0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The Red Pill is the initially bitter understanding that you are responsible, which later becomes the amazing liberation that is; you are responsible
Feminism is the realization that you can force others to look after you and you'll never have to lift a finger to support yourself ever again.
[–]Sirinon 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
TRP is personal, feminism is about spreading your word to others.
I am RP but you wont find much evidence of that in my other posts on Reddit or in my daily life, aside from my actions.
[–]RPtooLate0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It comes down to self-agency for men and appeal-to-authority for women. Which I suppose stems from innate societal value. Actually it's funny all the connections you will make if you go deep enough.
A lot of women's outrage seems to stem from a very base level of "Society(men) is failing to protect me and my innate value." 'Men are failing us,' says woman planning demonstration However, feminism itself is fighting against this very innate value.
[–]needmorefat0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
That's because most women won't feel affection for a man she does not respect, whereas many but not all men will feel affection for a woman even if he doesn't actually respect her as an honorable and competent person. It's called "Paternalism".
Unlike most men, once the penis is "off the pedestal", so to speak, most women won't really desire it any more. They'll hold out for the "unicorn" who isn't like all the rest...or as TRP prefers to term it, "hypergamy".
[–]1Jaereth0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Key difference: Sphere of Influence. TRP focuses on you. Don't like the way something is? Change yourself. Pretty successful because you can control yourself, if nothing else.
Feminism is: Don't like the way something is? Try and influence others and get society to change in order to fix it. The problem is what they are usually trying to change is something that's been hard-wired into the human brain.
Why do I find skinny chicks with perky boobs attractive and disgusting plumpers unattractive? Idk I just do. I didn't do it as a conscious decision to shame fatties, I just do.
I just do fatties. I was born that way.

I want to clarify something though. Once we accept the truth, do we then just take advantage of the game? If women can't help themselves, we shouldn't either once we get there? I assume yes because once you get that girl, showing weakness or love is disastrous.

Mainstream, bluepill thinking equates TRP to radical feminism.
Wow, news to me. I thought TRP was more like the KKK. I guess this is a step up.
But good analysis. Acceptance. Change yourself, not the world. The world is pretty hard to change unless you're an extremely large meteor.
