My mother is a non-westerner born in a poor family. She married my dad to raise her social status. Her pursuit of a career and concern about her brothers/sisters caused much strife with my dad (for good reasons). She would massively shit test my father and disrespected him. I saw first-hand how devious and cruel women can be. I laugh at the idea of her using rational thoughts and making wise decisions.

I do love her though, since I have learned to deal with all her antics and she has given up on trying manipulate me.

Well, I don't know about you, but my mom is a farm girl from a generation that predates feminism. But she still put herself through college, had a career to help support us, took care of herself and us, never disrespected my father, and had a strong moral compass.

In short, I see her as different from the sluts I encounter because she IS fundamentally different at a core level.

my mom totally gets the red pill. my parents have been married around 35 years, and they are both in great shape. mom plays tennis and works out all the time and she's still hot as hell at age 60, if you can believe it. she is 100% accountable for her own actions and never plays the victim to get her way. my mom and dad tease each other, but she's never outright disrespected him or vice versa. i have no idea how my mom turned out so well considering that she came from an abusive home and her mother cut off contact once she went to college. she pulled herself up by her bootstraps and earned her masters in child psychology and found a top-notch husband before she turned 25. she quit working to raise my brother and I, and then went back to work when we got to age 8 or so. i couldn't have asked for a better mom, and i tell her as much.

i've shown her the general trend of progressive feminism through articles about the evils of sexual objectification and patriarchy theory to give her an idea of what young liberal women are like, and she's flabbergasted. she said, "don't these women understand that men's physical attraction is at core of the relationship between men and women? these women just aren't living in the real world." mom gets it.

I think what our mothers generation has over this generation is 1) lack of entitlement 2) not complainers

My mom does way more than she should. Could have easily upgraded from my dad (as far as money/status goes)...NEVER complains. My dad is by nature extremely RP, even says to me woman like my mom are 1/10000 and you probably wont find one so just focus on making a lot of money.

I'd say for guys under 30 the chances are your mother is at the very least a bit like that. For older guys maybe not so much considering their mothers are from a generation not quite as fccked up by feminism.

My mother left my father, me, and my younger brother 2 days after Christmas in 2006. Every time we talk on the phone she says she misses me and that I should move where she is. There are days I forget I have a mom, those days really suck. I enjoy talking to her over the phone and I love her to death, but she won't accept that she is the one who left us, we didn't leave her behind. Months go by without hearing from her but once she does call it's like everything is ok again for those 10-15 minutes. I forgive her far too often, and I will never forget what she did.

I love my mother, she is from a different generation and different culture. I don't see how she is any different than women I see today.

My mom and dad were both quite attractive in their youth. They dated in college, got married. Both came from impoverished backgrounds, although hers was more severe. She grew up in a house without running water, without a toilet, without even an outhouse. The family (of 8)0 literally simply took a shit out behind a shed.

After marriage, dad became construction worker and mom became a public school teacher. Dad mostly works on the farm now, raising cows and herbs and such. Mom now has doctorate, teaching education at a 4-year-university.

Both parents are very intelligent. Their marriage seems like a 50-50 partnership to me. Both have a strong work ethic and come from an era of getting shit done. They've been married for close to 40 years now. As far as I know there's never been any hint of cheating or suspected cheating from either party and, well, my entire family gets along famously and we rarely argue (now that I'm not a teen anymore, anyway).

Your Mom is different to you bc she is YOUR Mom. She is the same to other men. It's like the single mom situation where the baby comes first, she comes second, and the man comes third (or possible 4th behind the bio father). In the instance of YOUR mom you're the baby and thus come first.

I don't have alot of memories of my mom. Super depressed reserved catholic - she did have a hypergamous urge (I don't know if she ever did stray) and she may have ridden the carousel in her past. Again, no info in that regard.

My father said that if he was going to do his life all over again in the modern era he would consider being gay, because a hole is a hole and gay men are great at house work. In short, my mother is a manipulative and refuses to do anything that is not fully self-serving. This includes things like cooking, cleaning or anything around the house.

I think the one thing that people on here are forgetting is that we are not mindless animals. We are human beings who are able to apply out faculties of reason to overcome our base instinctual urges. For all those red pillers crying out "Snow flake! AWALT," our mothers (if you're an older guy) came from a completely different time with its own societal norms and expectations. You cannot take your limited understanding of recent American culture and extrapolate it all the way back to the beginning of time. Expectations were different in the past, and women had to conform and adapt themselves to meet those expectations. The one great thing about being a human is that we can overcome our base nature. If drug addicts can be reformed to work against their addictive nature, so can women reform their hypergamy and men contain their polygamous nature.

Fuck my mom. Fuck all mothers. I have the best mom ever, but fuck her anyway.

Your mother knows, unconsciouly or not, that if you become alpha, other women will want you and she won't be able to have you just for herself. She wants a beta, she needs a provider and you're her retirement plan. So, since an early age, she teaches you how to behave, how to be a good boy and tries to erase any alpha traits that you may have. If you don´t comply, you will get some ritalin up your ass.

It's your father's duty to prevent this from happening. He needs to teach you how to be a man and protect you from destructive female self-interest. But we all know how bad this goes sometimes when our fathers are emasculated themselves.

I don´t have any answers as I'm still trying to figure this out. I know I have to listen to my instincts and forget about what society demands, including any external definitions of alphaness.

It is very hard to recognize what I really want for myself, not to please my mother, society or any form of external validation.
