If you're looking for companionship get male friends through hobbies and/or sport. If you like taking care of things + companionship get a dog. Women are for the most part sex objects. They are fun and nice to hang out with, but they're not reliable by any means.

Basically you need to make up for it in other ways. If you're successful, fairly charismatic, and don't seem evil, people will look past the felony.

Im with you. I got a few felonies, nothing violent - "too much partying" type of stuff. I'm also not tall, I'm pretty much "average" build. I can only speak for me, but I never had a problem getting hotties. As far as the "felon tag", it's what you make of it. Sure its a little harder to get started in a career. But be open about it, and once you find a somewhat decent job, stay put and work your ass off. You can do just fine as long as there's room in a company to grow.
Also, I never gave a thought to having an average build. For me, having a decent income, a good sense of humor, and confidence is all it takes. Those 3 things you CAN control and they totally outweigh the un-changeable things.

Nothing honestly. Accept that you may naturally be low SMV in some permanent ways. Fix what you can. Find a humble, low-SMV female and see what you can make of it. They'll just be happy someone wants them for the time being. Apply TRP principles as usual.

First of all you have to redefine the way you're defining yourself.

Top tier education

This one went straight down the toilet the moment you became a felon for 5 years. Education-unless you have a career in academia- works as signal for earning potential. Since you yourself admit that you won't "have a great career again" do not define top tier education as your good trait. Define yourself with the culture of your school, that remains despite everything. If it's truly top tier than you surely belong to a school with rich history and a good name. So instead of "top-tier educated felon" became "wicked cultured".

If you really need to do something other than focus on your good traits, act to reduce the value and influence of said traits by subtly ridiculizing them or people with those triats as primary and other techniques. Above all, when you do it you need to do it from a position of power and not let it seem like not having those traits can affect you, otherwise just ignore them.

I remember an interview with Duncan Bannatyne from British Dragons den. He was talking about him being stupid young drunk, liked to fight and all that. Sure enough he ended up in prison. Unable to find work he decided to get a loan and start his own business. Now he is quite well off, has a nice family and is healthy and active as far as I know. Don't give up on yourself just yet. Use your brain, you'll either come up with something or you wont. I'm always rooting for underdog, good luck. .

If you want LTR/marriage, then obviously you have an uphill climb regardless, unless you have your shit back together, and once you build yourself up it shouldn't matter much. I had an idea once called ExCons Cut Lawns. Basic business that is upfront about the history of their employees and works with rehabilitating them. There's a lot of money in landscaping and the cost of entry is so low. Aren't there subsidies available for hiring felons? That would allow you to maintain profit while underpricing the competition, and the charity gives it a reason to be cheap.

All you need to do is toss out what weaknesses you can and turn those you can't get rid of into strengths, or at the very least neutral characteristics that are neither repulsive nor attractive. No one liked when I smoked so I stopped. Easy. I'm short as fuck so I strike the perfect chord when it comes to confidence, posture, projection, etc. depending on where I am and what's going on. Among my network if someone went to prison but was swimming with us we would probably respect him more for it. You have to become successful. You don't need to have no felonies to be successful. You can start a business. Once you are successful and have respect from doing well your past will become something that contributed to your success not a dark mark on your past. I think you care more than other people probably care about your past.
