I understand the idea of living vicariously through someone else is pretty lame, and you certainly don't want to be a sports fanboy, but is watching the football game every Sunday that much of sin? Men are hard wired to enjoy competition. And in the same way that you read TRP to become alpha, watching sports teach you how to be a fierce competitor. These are men who dedicate a pretty significant amount of their lives to being the absolute best. Sure you have the Charles Barkley's of the world, who in spite of overeating, and overpartyingy are still pretty damn good, genetic freaks really. But then you also have someone like Tom Brady, lanky skinny fat mofo who overcame his genetics to become the greatest. There's a lot to be learned from adversity in every facet of life.
