You've previously seen me wax pedantic about our feminist overlords' new definitions of "misogyny". So it is now with their new definitions of "abuse".

A man is "abusing" a woman if he:

--objects to the way she treats him

--approaches her for sex, especially if she is his wife

--has standards for her

--wants things from her

--expects her to hold up her end of the bargain in a relationship

--disagrees with her

--supports Donald Trump

--mentions Donald Trump

--expresses that he has wants and needs in his relationship with her

--expects her to meet said wants and needs

--controls or "has veto power over" any part of the relationship

--mentions one of her past transgressions against him

(You are never to bring up "the past", ever. Once it's been talked about and dealt with, you are never again allowed to mention anything bad she ever did to you, ever again, for any reason, even to compare something she says you did to her. You are especially not allowed to discuss anything that has anything at all to do with sex. That notwithstanding, she is allowed to mention your past and things you did, at all times, whenever and wherever she wants, for any reason at all, including during a fight.)

--puts her on a budget when spending the money he earns to support them

--limits the amount of his money she can spend without checking with him first

--is quiet and doesn't want to talk after having a bad day at work

--wants to talk after having a bad day at work

--does not talk about his negative feelings

--talks about his negative feelings

--tells her "no"

--refuses to allow her to have a Girls Weekend in Vegas (or at least, says "if you go, I'm breaking up with you/divorcing you)

--refuses to pay for said Girls Weekend in Vegas

--conditions the continuation of a relationship with her upon her meeting certain conditions, standards of appearance, or standards of conduct

--withdraws affection, attention, and/or financial support because of her failure/refusal to meet said conditions/standards

--breaks up with her when she didn't want the breakup

--hurts her feelings in any way, even inadvertently

--fails to read her mind

--fails to divine her true meanings/intentions from what she said, even if the words she used are 180 degrees away from and diametrically opposed to what she (now claims she) meant

--loses his job or has some other setback, but wants the relationship to continue

--expects/asks for/wants/needs emotional support after suffering a setback

--inconveniences her in any way

Feel free to share how you have "abused" a woman.
