Lisa Linehan was 35 when she made this video over 7 years ago. She's now 43, according to info aggregators. She's lived around the US, in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Hollywood CA. According to some media she works doing marketing and business development. She's got a "night job" as a semiprofessional vocalist/musician and event promoter. I didn't see any evidence anywhere that she's been married.

To me, this is a story of just another very pretty woman who could have locked down a man by 25 but didn't because she was busy partying, having fun, working, making money, and dating hot guys. Which is all fine. But don't bitch and complain that you couldn't find a man to marry you when you made it very clear that wasn't important to you.

To amplify what moorekom says down there:

This is a story of a woman for whom marriage just wasn't all that important. If it were, she could have easily, EASILY, locked down a high value man by age 25. She makes good money, and what she doesn't make she can easily get other men to make up the difference. If she wants male company, it's a text, a call, or a swipe away. If she doesn't, she can do without it.

Also, this is a woman who was too busy. Too busy building a career and having fun performing. Too busy meeting up with C and D list celebrities. Too busy setting up open mike nights and booking gigs. Just too busy. A man and marriage just weren't important to her. They never were, and they still aren't.

Look, ladies: Your man is either important to you, or he's not. Marriage and a lasting relationship with one man either is important to you, or it's not. Lisa Linehan decided by her actions and decisions that being married wasn't important enough to her such that she should make the necessary compromises to make it happen for her.

We do not wish this woman ill. Not at all. This is one instance where I'm not laughing or making light of anything. This is one instance where I am not casting aspersions. All I, and moorekom, have done here is look at her life as an example, and make hard cold assessments of why this woman is not married. All I've done is tell you, plainly and dispassionately, why the publicity stunt of arranging a wedding without a groom and then taking to YouTube to advertise for a groom, didn't work. All I've done is tell you why this attractive 35 year old woman, now a still attractive 43 year old woman, is still not married. She is not married because she does not want to be married badly enough to make the necessary life compromises and adjustments to find a suitable man, get married to him, and then be married to him. It is just that simple.

It is pretty apparent that she wanted to get married for the sake of getting married. It is just one of those things you're supposed to do as you mature. It's a bookmark in her life. It's not a milestone. Even in the video, she's not really desperate. This is just something she wants to get done and staying together was not for her or the guy or the sake of family. It was because that was what her grand parents did. It looked nice. It looked like something you deserve. So, now it's time she just got that. And it's your responsibility to make it happen.

Granted, she's got a bit on the "talent" side of things, but @ "35-years-old" (in 2010) it begs the question: "Why did you put it off for so long?" It's great that she comes to the table w/out ever having children and doesn't deal with "divorce baggage" (huge "Plusses", no doubt) and has managed to keep her physique in check, but now in 2019 (44/45-years-old now) her "Fertility Window" has completely SHUT and has almost certainly hit menopause, meaning VERY LIMITED (if any) SEXUAL INTIMACY from her should be expected!

It's clear that she understood all this even back then when she launched this "Project Husband" fiasco, as (according to her own words) she'd ALREADY PLANNED THE WEDDING, even though the "groom" was still nowhere in sight of the horizon... and after (by her own admission) OVER 75 dates whittled down to "four candidates" later, her little "experiment" STILL went BUST!
