HV dates that don't involve eating

I also hate eating with people I don’t know. It feels so vulnerable for some reason. But it’s not something that should cause anxiety to the point that you cannot enjoy a date. I’m happy to hear that you are seeking therapy to overcome anxiety. Anxiety is NOT a flaw, it’s a symptom of trauma, and it’s not insurmountable, especially when you seek help from a trained specialist

There are other dates you can go on that are high value that do not involve eating. Some ideas:

An escape room An activity such as a helicopter ride, a trip to the museum, going zip lining, a sunset bonfire on the beach. Anything that makes you feel special and is not low effort would work.

Anything you would be excited to do that is classy and you get to feel like a high value, feminine lady - visit a museum, go to the movies, go to an event like a wine tasting or exhibit of some kind, see the theatre/orchestra/ballet or a concert. I don’t really enjoy sitting across the table for a full dinner with someone who is a stranger to me so something like one of the above where we maybe have a snack or a coffee is okay with me, whereas just a coffee would be low effort and not of interest. Hope that helps!

Edited to add: obviously if the pandemic is still raging in your area some of the above activities may not be feasible or safe so this is more for after the risk subsides.

Something that requires time, effort and money. I'm sure there are lots of things you want to do, a man who wants you would be delighted to take you to do what you want. A ballet you've been meaning to watch, try rock climbing, go ice skating.

There are botanical gardens, guided tours, race car drives and hundreds of other activities, virtual reality experiences, massage and wellness centres.

You have a whole range of calm to thrilling activities, and also no-talk (like a concert) to lots of room for talking (like getting a treatment done together).

How do we communicate wanting these activities without giving a LVM the tricks to dupe us / pretend to be high value ?

I’ve read that hiking dates are a no-go. LVMs like hiking dates a lot cause it’s during the day time and they can go to another date after that, it’s a free activity. I posted about a picnic date once , got down voted heavily as well on FDS.

Whatever HV activities you’ve been wanting to do or would do on your own: cooking class, paint and sip, amusement park, beautiful (public) hike, picnic in the park, beach stroll, shopping, fruit picking, hell audit a college class together lmao
