I would happily pay for someone else to sit through that show so that I don't have to.

Get three tickets and send the girls, keep the 2 year old at home with you and the two of you can listen to some real music. It's good for kids.

Obvious solution: The tickets are only $78/each (assuming you're talking about the Columbus show). Buy four of them and consider it a gift to yourself to have silence in your home.

Get two tickets. You're going to the concert, and if she wants to put forth a little effort to be feminine and nice she can join you. Even if she waits to bitch until you're in your seats and there's no kicking her out, you still have a good time. Because you want to see the concert. You're just magnanimous enough to consider taking her, because she's your wife. She should feel lucky.

But keep in mind, she's unpleasant because you've allowed it. So a dose of humility and rolling with the bitchiness is in order.

You fucked up in the past and will be paying for it for awhile, but you're also setting a new trajectory and leading everyone to new standards.
