I'm new to TRP but have read a lot over the last month. Making changes, particularly in the dominance realm. My wife gas been the de facto decision maker for years. We're talking zero sex in this marriage BTW So lately I've made a few decisions with regards to our children without consulting her. One regarding a punishment for a major misbehavior, the other about bring a child somewhere one afternoon. She's upset because I have not been consulting her on the decisions. In the past, consulting her meant her eventually enforcing her will, and I'm tired of that. Am I overstepping here, or am I on the right track. I'm lifting, independent, etc. Its the day-to-day interactions with my wife where I struggle to maintain dominance. Looking for practical steps to improve here.
