How meek of you to to call to ask your wife if the pastor can come over. If she's involved in the preparations or dinner or you need her to help entertain him because you can't handle talking to a man alone then you tell her. "Honey, I invited the pastor over, he'll be here at 5." Now, she knows the fucking house is a goddamn mess because she had to wrangle your kids and get them out the door, and you can't even fucking take your shoes off when you get in the door and are always getting the curtains dirty so you're going to have to add "I've got the house as clean as we did for your mother's visit and I want to try this new BBQ place so I'm getting take out." Now you've taken care of everything. The house is clean, nobody has to cook, the kitchen won't get ruined. And you can legit shut down any shit.

BUT FUCK she's not even going to be there. So you don't fucking ask her. You don't fucking tell her. You get your house clean enough so that your wife doesnt blow a fuse that somebody saw it like this, tell the pastor to come over, you fix something or get take out, have a good time, and clean up after yourself. When she gets home and wonders why the house is clean you mention that the pastor came over. The house is clean enough for company and she didn't have to do shit so if she starts shit up you should be able to legit shut it down.

Why your pastor gotta come to your house anyway? I thought you were Catholic? We have priests. Fuck cleaning your house and just take him out to a place where you can get a steak and a beer. And don't think you can start talking Red Pill shit to somebody who's never had to live with a woman bro.

A main event is where your wife makes a credible threat to divorce you in order to try to maintain control and you hold frame and tell to go ahead and divorce you if she wants to but that she will never control you again.

This is you getting dominated by your wife.

As for this specific situation, it seems obvious to me: Invite the guy over. Your wife can choose to join or not. If you're thinking you don't want to do it without your wife, then this is a good chance to realize that you're clinging to her. Break that pattern. You'll both be better for it.

OP Please delete this thread. This isn't something anyone here can help you with based on what you gave us. This isn't about control, dominance, permission. This has little to add to anyones well being and improvement. I mean seriously, this has no substance, none.

You shouldn't have even asked her. You didn't give us any background for context. Do you need her there? Is he there to help mediate for you? You are giving us no information, no background to even vet you from.

Terribly worded. I have other recent posts that explain my current situation in much more detail.

I intended to invite the priest over (yes I am catholic, used pastor for readability). I knew she wouldn't like it. I intended to do it anyway.

Looking back, it's clear there was no need to ask, I should have just informed so she could prepare.

Also it is embarassing how habitually I fall into BluePill Frame.

One of the sidebar links for one of MRP-themed articles had a 8-week improvement plan. Week 8 was social. I am implementing reading, exercising (starting to lift), diet, STFU, absence, and already control family finances. For social I'm putting together a poker game, having people over.

I did not plan to introduce red pill to the priest, or to get counseling, or any of that stuff. I was inviting the priest over myself, as myself, because it was something I wanted to do, for me. Having the priest show me respect to increase my SMV would, of course, be bonus.

Man do my habits suck. I have a ton of work to do. Reading WISNIFG now, then NMMNG, then MAP.

Thanks for the tough words. I need them.
