About me: unplugged for 18 months, launching a company next week, just relocated for it, been lifting and reading. Married for 6 years. Up to 170 lbs now, started at 145 lbs. Currently reading "The Art of Seduction". Dread level 5. Always revisiting the first level of dread though. We have one kid, 22 months old. Still haven't gotten sex more than once a week steadily since she got pregnant. Obviously this is not where I want to be, but it's better than last year. Never gonna stop improving.

My wife is a classic redhead: impatient, bossy, and with short heated outbursts. I used to respond to her yelling over inane bullshit like a beta. I'd talk about FEEEEEELINGS and respect all serious and somber-like. Not effective.

Now I do my best to ignore her outbursts when they happen and afterwards respond with less attention, affection, and time for the following 24 hours. She usually responds to this by being sweeter and more affectionate; deep down she knows she crossed a line and is tacitly apologizing.

Basically the same thing I do when I get a hard NO to sex.

I feel like I could be responding even better though. Help me out guys.

Edit: I've got a sneaking suspicion I could be handling this way better, partially fueled by the fact that we've NEVER had makeup sex, and the fact that I tend to be unaware of my own negative body language at times. How could I be doing this better?
