Similar post in this week’s OYS on r/marriedredpill. The difference is that here I’m specifically looking for others’ experience.

I find myself contemplating how best to move forward to develop true OI. My goal is to be in a relationship (and if I'm honest, to be in a relationship with my wife) where my partner is physically affectionate, loving, and with a healthy, regular sex life. After reading the section in NMMNG about sex, and the recommendation of a sex moratorium, I'm considering that as an option. It may be the most efficient method to stop looking to sex as a form of validation. Also, since the wife feels constantly pressured to have sex, and is resistant to physicality of any kind due to fear of making me angry that it doesn't lead to sex, it may also help her relax. The hope is that it would lead to a more physical relationship with teasing/flirting as she relaxes and I stop looking to her for my own validation. The fear is that it would leave to an even deader bedroom as it becomes the "new norm”.

Have others done this? Why? What was positive/negative about the experience?
