Since this is askmrp... Yes, I lift and I have a PT to make sure I stay honest to myself; yes I have read it all and then some; yes, current dread level 7 that I still consider passive; and yes I do have hobbies and friends. I have done my mistakes, and have my shit together in general. Enough to cut the shit short? My question is not about "why my sex life is bad?" but about cultural context.

A lot of this discussion is rooted in the US culture. The principles of interpersonal dynamics do apply everywhere, but divorce legislation and practicalities are quite different in where I live. Typically both parents work, and in case of divorce it is quite common to have kids 50/50, split of assets that were accumulated during the marriage, and no crippling alimony. Problem cases exist, and your mileage may vary. In general people do not get material reward because of divorce. Typically the quality of life decreases or stays the same - your debt level just goes up. And that's for both.

I also feel that our culture is one step behind from what takes place in the US. Yes, there's monkey branching, trickle truth, frustrated chumps - the whole nine yards. It's just not that extreme. Maybe in a generation things will have "progressed", but there is still a whiff of conservativeness in all of it. And yes, double standards do exist. It's all there, remember - just not that blatant.

So, is there a society or sources that would be suitable for environment like this? I love MMSLP and Rollo's first year. Would be great to experience how other people in contexts outside US have experienced all this. Are there sources you can recommend or experiences that helped you improve/internalize or even let you help others to unplug?

In addition to the usual bashing, I expect some nuggets of gold here 😉
