Yes. I look like shit in selfies, which is why for online dating I always do professional shots and I have a guy who does airbrushing for me.

To max out online game you need the best possible pictures. For me getting the foot in the door is the hardest step, but after I get their number and meet, it's easy ride from then on.

EDIT: Some gentlemen here got their panties twisted over the use of word "airbrushing". Call it photoshoping or whatever, what's the fucking difference.

Same. In real life, I would say I am average or above average looking. In pics, I get dark circles, have a stoner look and my hair is always awkward. In selfies, I look as if I was a Boomer who has just discovered camera app.

Obviously my tinder sucks but in person, I do good enough somehow .

I have this problem tbh which I think is a big part of my Tinder/Bumble/Hinge game not being good. I'm way better in person doing cold approaches and things of that sort. This sounds slightly gay, but if you have a good bro go out for a day and take pics of each other and also learn to edit pics in lightroom, snapseed, whatever photo editing app you prefer. Not really. You need to find your angles. The way to do that is by taking loads of pictures of your face, body in different angles facing the camera and find your best.

Sure, although most women are taking hundreds of selfies rapid fire to get one good shot. Find a friend who can take good pictures of you or get a cheap tripod off Amazon.

It could be lense distortion, a lot of mobile cameras warp close range. Get a tripod or just lay it against something at a distance. Put the timer on. Try some other possess and lighting. Crop it nicely. Good luck.

Yup. I hate making pics. I hate posing for pics. I hate pics in general.

I don't like the idea of fake smiles in front of the camera.
I even do amateur photograph and always wait for people to drop their fake smiles before making a portrait.

Everyone looks distorted in pictures. There's a peculiar nature with photos; sometimes you look sizeable in comparison to reality, and sometimes you look scrawnier. Don't believe either of them. However, hitting the gym, lifting some weights and making sure your diet is in check; your image gets subconsciously enhanced and so does your testosterone.
